We were back at Ninja Nation yesterday morning when they opened at 10am since it was to be the quietest time of the day. The boys got to ride the air bags as they inflated.

It was nice essentially having the place to ourselves before the 4 birthday parties were to start at 11. I spent my time on the climbing style obstacles but managed to torch my hands.

I did it to myself the first day as I could feel the skin loose but fully ripped the flappers which did NOT feel the best.

I did it on this swinging obstacle that requires you to spin around with each direction change then you have to throw for the next one. I know how and when it happened as I changed my grip on the bar.

I spent the rest of the time working on the swing then launch and trying to get my distance right. I used my fingers then more than my palm to hold the bar and it worked okay. By the end of the hour the boys and I were beat.

As I pulled back into the farm I found that my next paragliding book had arrived from England. My primary collection is complete! I now have the ancillary titles to collect.

I had setup the printer to push out another set of the rear mud flap parts and this one came out WAY nicer in the fashion I oriented the parts on the plate.

The cooler is on now and ready to start accepting produce from the garden.

@stryeyz was super keen on a drive to see if the berries are ready to pick yet so off we all went back up to the hump. As we drove up the road the thimbleberry bushes were covered in still green berries with a few more in the sun showing a bit of pink color.

So up to the top we went to show the boys 3 Rocks.

It was super windy when we got to the top and we could see the rain was falling across the valley on Scoop Mtn.

Mt Spokane was nearing being in the clouds.

We wandered the whole top and all the rocks as the rains crept closer.

MONKEY ROCK! Look at that monkey head looking to the left at Mt Spokane!

Super stoked I found a nice little bouldering problem that sit starts the bottom of the overhang then climbs straight out the point. Isn't too hard but quite fun.

So we decided to head out and as we drove back down the rain began to fall. Soon we were back home and the rains fell for the rest of the afternoon into the evening. I got the second set of mud guard parts printed out but had to print the larger parts to connect to the seat post.

The rains moved in from the north.

These will fit the seat post better so I can install them today.

I got the fire going and it managed to survive the light rain.

Grilled out burgers for dinner.

It is astonishing that after 7 days of racing the lead group is as close as they are in the X-Alps. They should finish today most likely.

Soaking was nice on the back but agony on my hand flappers. It will be hard today at Ninja Nation.

Up early this morning to see the X-Alps and Durogati is now in the lead with a real chance to win it! Of course the US is stuffing its nose into the middle east again. Wee will be going to Ninja Nation again this morning which will leave the boys and I 1 more hour for next Friday or Saturday. I'll install the mud guards, pick in the garden, and try to avoid the rains which cleaned everything off nicely.

We're waiting till next weekend to let us all heal up and be more ready for the Ninja Nation. Getting to watch the end of the best X-Alps in history.
