Liege, Planted Garden Seeds and Potatoes, Robin, 15 Mile Bike Ride, Flat, Booty - Sunday

Got to see the last 1/3 of the Liege race yesterday morning as Pogi rode away from Seixas on the last hill to easily win the race. Just crazy how strong and the endurance of the top riders.

My morning was focused on getting the garden planted. First was the 2 rows of peas with their fences.

Celery next.

Cabbage next row.

Then a row each of kale and chard.

A row of beans.

I went to get a bag of potatoes from the studio and the robins have 4 eggs in their nest now, not hatched. She was not happy with my proximity to the nest and sat in the tree pipping and chirping at me until I walked away.

4 rows of Red Nordland potatoes in the ground. About 200 of them and R helped me with one row. They are on the end of the garden so when it is time to harvest I can lift the plastic without having to worry about other plants.

J had his flag football in the afternoon and I went out for a mellow-ish ride. I really was trying to keep it mellow but my legs have other ideas.

It was snowing on Mt. Spokane as a cell went whizzing by. It had some cool breezes with it but the sun would come back out and be warmer again.

I chose to ride a lot of gravel on my road bike and paid the price on the steep downhill curves as I got a front tire flat. I again was able to get it fixed in about 5 minutes and be back on the gravel road only going a good bit slower so as not to explode another tube.

It's interesting how I can nail the same distance as the prior day without trying. 15 miles exactly again. Still zone 3 the bulk of the time and likely the mile+ hill climb lead to the threshold level.

Found 4 more e-cigs and a broken set of DeWalt head phones. Oh and my flat tube...

Ripped the batteries out of the e-cigs right away.

And this is my nearly 3 dozen batteries I have so far just from the e-cigs I find on my rides.

Today I get the boys to school in a while, I got a few leads from Thumbtack and need to setup the one I got overnight, will return the core of the brakes to Autozone, figure out where I will plant yellow potatoes and get the space tilled and maybe planted, then have to pick J up after track practice and figure out dinner.
