Last Ninja Nation Day, Bike Comp, The Room Cleaning Trudge, Dinner, Rooster Helmet - Sunday
It was the last day of Ninja Nation yesterday as they are now closed for good. We were there right at 10am when they opened for our last hour. It was rather sad that they are closed but understandable as it's not cheap to keep a place like that running.
The boys hit most everything and took full advantage of their time. I got more time on the hardest ones which managed to do a number on my back and shoulder muscles.
Our time up we said goodbye to the place and headed for home. Another business that just couldn't keep the doors open...
Not long after we got back to the farm the new bike computer arrived for J's bike. I've found it's far better to do a true measure on the wheels to input the correct size. The chart is sorta close but I put a mark on the tire by the valve stem then rolled it along the tape measure to get the exact right numbers. Nicely his new bike has the same size tires as mine so he will keep pace even better now.
The rest of the day was spent in R's room. We worked on shoveling the place out and getting things sorted. Tons of baby items need to go and he has piles of clothes that don't fit him. It was hours and hours spent in there and we got a lot of the biggest shit dealt with. There is just tons of little misc shit to sort through now and I will be pushing them to work on it more today.
None of us felt like cooking so up to Backroads we went. R ended up getting some football helmets out of the claw machine.
Then once back on the farm he was out trying to catch a rooster to see if the helmet would fit one.
We eventually got one but the helmet is just too small for them. Would likely fit a chick better.
OMG so sore. The jets only do so much for the horribly sore muscles, even the muscle relaxer barely touched it.
Not the best sleep last night and am still super sore this morning. Today we keep working on R's room, mow, pull weeds, stretch lots, it's going to be hot so keeping the house cool will be a primary goal of the day, and try to figure out dinner this evening.
