Laptop, Session, Home Depot, Planter Boxes Built, Alternator, Last Track Meet - Wednesday
This week has been quite busy and yesterday continued it. Got the boys to school in the morning and walked back into the house to close R's room and saw he had taken his laptop to school, which is wrong. SO I had to go back over to the school and retrieve it from him...

Went to my session which went well then headed to Home Depot to pickup part of the gate order. It took a while but I got the pieces, the gates will get picked up tomorrow morning on the way to the job.

So then I ended up at my client's house and went to work finishing building the planter boxes with the cinder blocks.

Leveling, weed fabric, chicken wire, then bricks. I then emptied all the bags of soil she had into the upper box which only filled it about half way. She will be getting more soil to finish filling them. After 2 hours I headed for home.

Once home I had a couple hours and part of the time was spent pulling the alternator off the sled to take in this morning as the core when I get a new one. The fucking car wouldn't start which means that the battery just isn't getting charged which only means the alternator is shit.

We were at the high school before 3:30 and found J finally. I forgot I had helped him shave his head in the morning so didn't see him until he ran up to me....

His first event was discus.

Then he did javelin.

about 150 minutes later was the 1600 which he did well in but he is for sure my son and has much better long distance endurance than short distance speed. He still got about a 7 minute mile.

His last event was the 4x100 and he was the 3rd leg.

They got 58 seconds for the full 4x100 and 2nd of the 3 teams. It was near 5:30 when we got home and I figured out dinner for us. Watched Mythbusters then. I got J's track jersey in the wash and dried before I headed to bed.

Today I am off work as the gate job is just all being done tomorrow now. So I will get the boys to school, then I will go to Autozone for the alternator and get it installed right away. Then I will go out on a bike ride. I have to pick R up from STEM this afternoon then the boys and I will drive out to the Spokane Airport to pickup @stryeyz after her flight home from Seattle. Too bad her boss didn't feel like a little jaunt in his airplane...

Very nice raised garden bed, the concrete blocks worked perfect, I'm sure she will be very happy with her garden!!👍😀
Walmart in Spokane Valley had them for $1.50/ea so she stocked up. ended up 3 bricks shy of finishing the smaller one.
That's a good price... I think there are a lot more expensive over here!👍😀
I am still chuckling over you not recognizing your son without his hair. I can certainly appreciate that. I often don't recognize adult men if their facial hair has changed since I last saw them.
