Job Visit, Garlic Harvesting, Pain - Monday
Yesterday morning I managed to get the car to the gas station as it was quite low. Then I made it down to my client's rental home where I will be installing the flooring tomorrow to see what I was in for. It really isn't too bad with smaller rooms. She has all the materials already so I will really just need my tools and a saw for cutting the flooring. Nicely the flooring is in 2 foot lengths so it will go in quickly. I will start in the 2 bedrooms then go to the office, the hallway, then the laundry room.
Back home I was out digging more garlic from the rows. I am really finding out which I will be growing again as the tiny ones won't be, but the larger will be. The Uzbekistan won't.
The Montana Giant for sure will be grown next year. I am a bit disappointed with the Nootka Rose which ended up rather tiny. It took 2 years to finally get some to grow so maybe now I know why...
9 of the 22 varieties have been dug and there are 7 varieties left in the main garden which will all come out the next days when I have time. I also finished sifting one bag from the sapphire mine and have some nice gems in the jar now.
My sunburned back is like fire anytime I move, it hurts super bad.
Today will be busy. Paperwork notarized, session, tree work, valve problem, likely have to go drop off the paperwork, then maybe harvest more garlic this afternoon or evening...

The Spokane Bar mine is near Helena Montana and they have a few different mine sites that can go dig at for various fees. Last year we went up and dug at the spot above the rock shop and got a couple bags to bring home. This year we got a couple bags of their Motherlode which went up in price a lot 2 days after we got ours.
