Irrigation and Painting, HOT, Weeds, Session, River, Bike, Blood Sun - Wednesday
Super annoying I don't have the pics from my morning and day yesterday. I was at my client's one house at 9am to paint the sheetrocking I had done to cover the a/c lines. Thankfully they had paint left by the prior owners in the garage that matched both places. It took me a bit to smooth the spackle then paint on a few coats.
I then had to work on the irrigation I installed and swap some pop-up nozzles to better cover. I aimed rotors better, then installed a popup next to a rotor to cover a patch of grass on the other side of the walkway.
Ended up at their board and care and got the irrigation tuned there. One rotor was hitting the bottom branches of a fruit tree so I trimmed the branches up and it sprays much better.
Back home it was 100F early afternoon. I managed to go get the weeds hauled out of the garden that I had pulled and dumped in the sheep pen, then retreated back to the cooler house.
We had our session in town at 5pm which went well. Picked up food after then headed to the valley.
I got the call about my bike which is shipping out today! I REALLY would love for it to deliver tomorrow... but it may not be till Monday, I will know later today.
Walking along the river there was people everywhere and a bunch of kids were on the rock jumping into the water.
I got the pic right as the one was launching from the rock.
The ducks and geese did not seem to mind the slew of people in and around the water.
With the fires burning on the Colville reservation land to the west the sun was HUGE and blood red. It got even bigger as it got lower and the lensing effect of the atmosphere.
No jobs today so it is a work around home day. Always lots to do and before the heat sets in again. It will be 100F again today, the smoke has decreased a bit so maybe I can get a ride this morning as the 50 mile is to be Sunday. I would love for my bike to be here so I can ride it.
