Though the rain never really fell it was getting blown along too fast I think.

The power blipped earlier but then the wind really hit and the power went off at 5:30am. Thankfully I had been up a couple hours already and had my tea made and morning routine done already. The first tree to fall was across the highway which flicked the power but then the wind pounded and the power went fully off.

Meant a couple hour late start for the boys at school.

The wind gusts were in the 50 mph range and the trees around the farm all showed the extreme forced being thrown at them. THANK GOD the roots are all well established after the constant rains this month. Not one tree uprooted on the farm.

This is the show of the wind, the real tell is the 911 calls that all hit the same time frame.

Finally around 7am the light began to grow and the real movement of the trees could be seen.

The winds did little but break branches. Which sounded like gun shots when they broke.

The back side of the storm clouds as I took the boys to school for the 2 hr late start.

Out looking for damage around the farm I found that my garlic are all sprouting now. It has been so fucking warm the past month they all think it is Spring and have blown up tips through all the needles I have for cold cover. I have to look into how bad this might be for them...

The upper property was really just fine with only the one tree that had been leaning having fallen over.

It was rather amazing just how strong the gusts were. The trees got pushed well past the 45 degree mark but thanks to the strength of the evergreens they are able to handle to forces with seeming ease.

The PDC had a NA match which surprisingly Campbell lost to Sevada in his first appearance at the Palace.

The ol Barney got obliterated in a sad whitewash showing his career is about over.

My mid day was spent in the pantry. I have all the walls with shelves and all of them need to be organized so I started with the smallest unit, the liquor realm. I figure I will work my way counter clockwise which will have me finishing with the snack shelves to the right of the door.

In the afternoon the boys had friends come home with them for a while then later @stryeyz and I had out session in town which went really well. We stopped at Total Wine to resupply then Safeway for dinner stuffs.

The chess pieces were done when we got home. I managed to make it to about 8:30 before passing out. Though it didn't mater much as my sleep was shit, as per the norm.

Fucked sleep again overnight so another shit morning. PDC is on, possible snow today, more pantry organizing, hard drive repairs, R has STEM, then J has his winter band concert this evening.
