Before 5am yesterday morning I was on the road to town for a grain run. Storms came through overnight and were still moving through as I was driving. It made for a really killer sunrise.

By the time I got to the brewery is was amazing looking in the sky.

Grain loaded I was on my way back by 5:20.

Before 6am I had the grain shoveled out for the sheep and the trailer unhooked from the car.

As I was shoveling a cell came through and dropped some more rain. It all amounted to nothing in the gauge and made the morning rather humid.

Unfortunately my shirts are not going to be ready until next week so I just went back to my client's to fix the water line I cut through on accident. OF COURSE it was 3/4" line, of which I have little to no parts for so off to the nearby Ace to get the coupler and clamps for so I could do the very fast fix.

I got home and quickly got ready for my ride then headed out. It was windy and pretty warm already but I felt pretty strong and was moving at a good speed most of the time. I did the reverse of a prior route.

I really need to get my bike tuned as there are 4 gears that keep skipping on me, the 4 smaller on the cassette above my smallest. I am able to manage though.

I am a bit amazed at the progression I have had when a 2 hour 50K is now my regular ride. It doesn't feel like that long and my body is able to handle it okay.

After devouring food once home and cooling off for a while I headed out to finally get some mowing done. Ran through the sheep pen side of the driveway.

Then started on the creek side and made it down to just below the big ass burn pile before @stryeyz texted she was on her way home. I was nearly out of gas in the tank so parked it for the day.

We went to our session which went better than most then to dinner at the Thai place in Wandermere. The pad thai was delicious and I inhaled it. I was SO SORE and worn out from the day and as soon as we got home I was ready for bed.

Today I have some work for my main client in the morning, then I have to get more of the mowing done as the region is drying out and burning more often so I want our fire clearances dealt with. Also to keep the weeds from flowering and seeding more. I still have to get garlic dug and deal with the ones that are dried now after digging. Dinner needs to be ready early as kickball is this evening.
