HOT, Session, Rest Of List For Client, Peas, New Tool, Trailer - Tuesday

Ick, it was hot yesterday. I went to my session in the morning and had the house closed up after getting as much cool air in overnight. The a/c ran much of the day to keep it reasonably cool.

It was then a short couple mile drive to my client's house again where I finished off the list of tasks before it was too hot. First was to re-fence the planter boxes with better fence they had. I brought 4 of my t-posts from the farm which are 6 foot and much stronger than the light ones they had in that bent over and made the mesh fence bow.

I then got the small spruce tree moved. Unbeknownst to me I cut through one of the irrigation lines when removing it. I didn't even feel a stutter to the shovel as I did so. It wasn't until mid afternoon when Maury went to test the sprinklers to see if they would hit the new tree that it was discovered. I will be back over this morning to fix it before I go pickup my shirts and hats from the print shop.

I also got the ornamental weeping spruce cleaned up in the front yard as it had TONS of dead in it beneath the nice green outer growth. Had to clean up the debris afterwards. We will be back over this weekend to haul off the trees and branches that I cut down. Got paid and headed for home.

Stayed cooler inside watching the Swiss beat Columbia in World Cup then headed out to pick peas in the garden. My shirt could barely hold all 3 pounds I got. These rows are doing REALLY well this year.

Very stoked on my new jigsaw! Really badass I have a 2nd 9ah battery now for my chainsaw and it came with an 8a fast charger! much faster than my 4 port for the big batteries. The saw is SO NICE! I have a big pack of blades arriving today for it. This would have been very useful on a few of my jobs especially the flooring job... But I have it now so going forward my work will look much better when I have to make precise cuts.

After dinner I went out and got the trailer hooked up for this morning.

I have been to town for grain, unloaded it, and unhooked trailer. The thunderstorms rolling through made for some epic looking pics. I will head over to fix the water line before heading to the valley to pickup my shirts and hats for my fix it business. More work scheduled for tomorrow, will mow today (no excuses), try to keep the house cool, and I may just take my wing with in case it is flyable in the valley... I will see.
