Heavy Rain, Man Utd Surprise, GARLIC PLANTING DONE, 3139 Cloves, Row Covering, Sore - Sunday
I was pounding down rain yesterday morning when I woke up at 4am. There was actually standing water in the yard that the yard lighting glowed off it was raining so hard. But the doppler showed it was going to abruptly end soon.

And by 6am it had.

.9" of rain from the storm.

Utd v Liverpool was destined to be a blowout for Liverpool but miracles occasionally happen. Less than 2 minutes in they scored first.

Liverpool got a goal back in the mid 2nd half.

Then Harry put a header into the corner of the goal for their first win in Liverpool in decades.

It had dried out enough so near mid day the boys went out to help me finish the #garlic planting. I set R to raking more pine needles up while J helped stuff cloves. I had punched all the holes first so it was just putting the cloves in the holes.

R got the last row to plant.

The rake worked perfect for back filling the holes.

Then we had to get the pine needles gathered and hauled. I hooked the bed liner to the hitch on the car and dragged it around the farm.

We filled it full then I drug it by the garden and we used the wheelbarrow to move them inside the garden.

The load of needles only got so much covered and we had to find more to finish the last row.

Finally the last row was covered and all the garlic is in the ground now!

Here is how the numbers shook out in the end. 3139 cloves when I was aiming for 3k. There was a few rows I could have filled in other varieties but this year I am keeping them all separate for easier harvest.
The afternoon and evening I had to rest my body which is falling farther and farther into pain. I put on Hackers, one of my favorite movies. Then I worked on the new server we got and trying to get Ubuntu to do what I want it to.
Today R an I have PT first thing, I will get him to school, then I have to finish the garden as plastic needs pulling, plants need pulling, irrigation lines need rolling, burn piles need to be built, will work on the server setup more, and try to keep the pain at bay as much as possible.

I hope the new server works out well let us know how it goes!👍😄
It's slick as it came with win11 on one drive and Ubuntu on the other so I am trying to get Ubuntu up to speed but it is balking at apt upgrade not finding the right server so I have to play with it some more.
Let us know how it works out, my friend, sounds like a post!👍😊
The seasonal shift is playing hob with my back. Yesterday was mostly bearable, but the two before had me almost completely incapacitated. Are your aches at all connected with seasonal cycles and weather patterns?
The weather doesn't mess with me too much. This is likely just over use and I need to stop doing anything for a while.
