Healing, Sunshine, HIke, Session, Afternoon Snow Shower, Pain - Tuesday
Purely shit sleep yesterday as I ended up on the couch since my body was just trashed. Hips refused to let me lie in bed but my watch says I got 6.5 hrs. It didn't feel that restful waking regularly. Once I got up I checked on the burn and redressed it for the day. At least it doesn't hurt as bad as my thumb did.
Got my orthotics appointment scheduled for 2 weeks out so have to manage the pain longer till I can get them and begin using them.
Went to my weekly session and got a more tangible useful exercise that I spent time working on once back on the farm. The morning was nice and we got a bit of sunshine here and there.
Managed to get out with the dog for a hike of the upper property. The clouds to the south and west were REALLY stormy looking and we did the 3/4 mile loop in time before it hit.
It wasn't much on the doppler but it ended up a pretty nice little squall.
It started at 2:30 pm with just tiny little flakes/snow balls falling.
Soon it was dumping pretty hard.
It was all of about 15 minutes for the squall to pass over but we ended up with near a half inch.
This was 2:50pm and the squall was heading towards Newport and Sandpoint. The snow was melted really fast and was gone within an hour.
Managed to get my #doodlewash watercolor done which was turtle and of course TMNT so did Leo. He was always my favorite of the 4 turtles.
It was after 6pm when the next round came through and it dropped about half an inch of big fat flakes that actually stuck and is still here as I look out the windows.
First night of longer sleep in forever last night, nearly 8 hrs finally. It helped my head a bit but not the pain level. Boys to school in a bit, dailies once home, #3dprinter is going now with pick holders for J, looks like that was the storm for us as the rest of the week now looks clearer, and R has practice tonight.
