Yesterday morning I drove into Spokane to a neighborhood I have never been in. Down by the river across from Brown's Addition in a small ~12 house area. It was to hang these pair of mosaics next to her front door. I drilled holes in the stucco and tapped in some screw sleeves which I then used bolts to hold up the art. They are heavy being tile so I wanted something with stronger sheer force than just screws. I got them nearly perfectly aligned, the top of each is a 1/4 inch wider than the bottoms. She was very happy with them.

The air in Spokane's downtown was rather nasty from the fires.
I stopped on the way home to get gas. I topped off the car then filled the 2 cans. One can for the chipper and the other for the rest of the tools on the farm.
The air around the farm was rather clear thanks to the winds out of the north blowing it all away from us.
More peas from what I am realizing are a really really good variety. They have not gone lanky, have stayed around 4 feet tall, and are still producing despite the mid 90F temps... Some cucs and tomatoes went in the house as well.
I tried to setup the trainer for my new bike but it won't work with it so I am going to have to use my old road bike for the trainer... So no selling my old bike I guess. Or I just need to find a wide enough axle to swap out with my through-axle which might be better in the long run.
I also had to put the chipper battery in the solar charger before I could get it going. Without the trailer hitch available I had to tip the chipper back and roll it by hand into position. Thankfully it was slightly downhill to the pile...
The thing wouldn't run the drum so I had to pop off the side panel and scoop out all the collected chips. The belt is still okay and once I messed with it a bit the chipper came to life.
I then spent an hour shoving branches into it from the big pile. It is dirty, loud, and rather hard on the hands but after a while the chipper got its groove and would self feed some of the branches.
By 4:30 I had enough and my body was super sore. I managed nearly a cubic yard of chips though.
I have something like 4 or 5 trees worth of branches still left to run through it and I will be back at it today to chip away at the pile. Pun intended.
I will be back chipping this morning as well as cutting down the larger branches into wood pile sized lengths. I will get the boys to start running wheelbarrow loads of chips around the farm to lay down for walking paths. I have no session today since the office is in the level 3 evac zone still.

Yep, he was caught. Career felon. Being this state is as lax on crime as it is I expect he will see minimal repercussions. I would like to be proven wrong but the past years have shown I am not wrong to expect little.

Hypothetically speaking, how would the woodchopper withstand processing an arsonist? Hypothetically.
Much like Fargo I would expect. If only it had a self feed to make the process easier. It would make some interesting fertilizer... Instant blood/bone meal, lol.
