Grain run, Packing, DRIVING TO MONTANA, Dinner, Lake - Thursday
Bright and early I was in town yesterday morning to get grain. Just a couple barrels that I emptied right after getting J to school.
Then I had my PT appointment which I needed badly.
Then home to finish packing and it was about 10:45 when I was on the road finally.
It is GLORIOUS to be back in my truck. It feels right now and drives well. It really was an awesome drive.
The site of one of my car breakdowns back in 2000. My Jetta broke and I had to get a ride to Superior from whoever was living in the place on the left. Managed to fix the car enough to get back to base.
Got into Helena and drove straight to dinner at the Grub Stake.
Steak salad is the BEST!!!!!
After a stop at the store for supplies I headed for the lake and camp.
I chose this site over looking the lake and right next to where Andy wants to camp.
I setup my tent but slept not the best last night. It's still really windy and not likely to allow us flights if it keeps up like this.
We will see how the winds are today, they are calling for strong gusts that would not allow us flights but Saturday and Sunday are looking solid.

Whenever I pass through Kellogg, I remember the time our old Suburban broke down in the parking lot at McDonald's. My husband had to come rescue me. And when I approach St. Regis from the north, I remember the time most of the idiot lights came on at once on my Rav 4. Funny how trips sometimes go awry like that!
