I was in Spokane for my 9am orthotics appointment which went quick and my foot impressions are being sent off to be made into much better orthotics than the ancient ones I have been using for years now.

I was home by mid morning and worked around the house as the dishes needed to be loaded into the dishwasher. My new earbuds delivered mid day as I was trying to get out for a hike with the dog before the rain really set in.

I was unable to beat the storm front and the rain deluge began about 1pm. It started light but soon became a serious down pour.

Utd played Newcastle and SUCKED!!!

The water fell in a fog it was raining so heavy. The metal roof of the house was pounding to the rain beats.

I watched as the rain gauge filled rather quickly with each resurgence in the torrent.

The crazy storm would then pause the rains for a bit and it was like the faucet was turned off.

Of course they lost in OT.

And then the rain returned with force.

The heavy rains were streaming right at us and the lineup of the storm kept the rain dumping all afternoon.

It was like this until dark.

Within 6 hours of rain we were up to .9" of rain!

The storm moved off overnight and we have a clear-ish day ahead. Boys to school in a while then will get in a long ride today, wash clothes, put dishes away, then will pickup R after STEM and J has skate time at the school after the school day.
