Flowers, Trouble, Scapes, Sled, 3DP, Wing Inspection, Spinach Harvest, Ninja Nation - Friday

The potato plants are starting to flower and soon the patch will be filled with them blooming. As strong as all the plants look this year we should end up with a pretty healthy harvest.

R got himself in a world of shit for beating the elderberry up and breaking off the flowers and branches. Couldn't have gone and done that to a NON-FRUITING bush, oh no had to do it to the one that should have produced berries.

The Columbine are flowering and I'm lucky to have seen them before they seed out.

The garlic exploded more scapes and I barely had enough room in my hand to hold them all. There will be another handful at least to come out soon and I think I have a variety or 2 that could be ready to pull.

Found mud guards for the bikes and I got the front one printed out. It fits on my bike but only the back part but it should still work.

Noonish I went out to the sled to try and figure out what the fuck is wrong with it and found my problem.... ME. I'm the problem. Turns out I forgot to fully close the drain valve on the radiator. I was looking over EVERYTHING in the engine bay and finally looked down at the valve and noticed a slight gap beneath the handle.... Turned it a full turn and it closed. And that fixed my leak.

Then I hauled my wing out to the driveway to go over it really well. I DID find a bunch of garbage in the wing tips that I had to fish out, like a pine cone... The lines are showing some wear for sure but seem still good. I shook it out well and got it packed back up.

The spinach needed to be picked and I'm likely only getting the one big harvest from the row as the plants are trying to flower now. 1.5 pounds from the 3 varieties in the 50 foot row.

The X-Alps is just incredible to watch and the insane flights they are making is just next level. Looks like they could finish tomorrow or Monday.

The boys and I went into town and picked up @stryeyz then headed down to Ninja Nation.

We have punch cards that need to be used up so all four of us used an hour punch. It was rather crazy with the number of kids running around but I got in a good 40 minutes of workout. The hardest is the salmon ladder which I can't even get one throw on.

Sucks they are closing now. I thought of a possible winter idea for them, maybe talk to the air dome and see if they could setup there...

After our hour was up and we were all sore we headed to Applebee's for dinner.

When we got home the rear mud guard had printed out and surprisingly was not too bad. I only put supports on the bed so some of the guards are a bit rough. It's a mud guard... it doesn't have to be perfect. I will work on installing it later today.

Soaking was rather nice on the quite sore muscles.

Going to be at Ninja Nation this morning when they open to get in another hour before they have birthday parties starting. Supposedly rain is inbound but the doppler shows nothing yet. After town I will get the guard installed on my bike, harvest in the garden, the cooler needs to get started first thing, X-Alps is still going, and I'll get the printer going on more guards.

Attention to detail is rather important. Thankfully it was manageable and I didn't kill the engine.
