I then found a pile of orange feathers along hte road that I gathered up for the fly kit. There were some really cool spotted and striped feathers with them that were under plumage of hte bird.

Then as I carried the feathers towards the house I found this little gopher snake by the rock wall. I set down the feathers, got my gloves on, then picked it up for a bit.

It isn't very old and it wasn't super excitable. I set it back down by the wall and it slithered off a ways and stopped so I let it be and went back to the house.

I had my rescheduled chiro appointment mid day and got to roll a ton of the awful knots that have taken up residence in my back.

The car was gnarly and I washed it down. Broomed the windows which got them a lot cleaner.

For flying I have been having trouble with my radio. I haven't found a way to use it while in the air. Until I found the Baofeng helmet mic setup. It's for full face but I am making it work for my non full face. I found a mic arm and printed it out in PET-G at 100%.

I mounted it to the side of my helmet and it is in a really good position.

All I had to do was hit it with the heat gun a little bit and the plastic softened so I could bend it a little. It is perfect now and swings up to store along the helmet. I won't get to use it today for flying as it will be delivering but the next flight I will.

The bees were in fast forward.

I have to get a new super added on and a new batch of syrup made for them this weekend.

Ran out of black filament so switched to gray and it actually is semi strong.

The MASA meeting happened again up in Chewelah at the pizza place so I headed up a bit after 4pm. Thankfully I left when I did as I just missed a wreck. I got there a little early so ordered my beer and food. The meeting went well and we have the articles of incorporation ready for the Mountain Air Soaring Association. The meeting ended quickly since the hang gliders had their wings setup on Inkler's launch and were antsy to go get in the air.

So I was headed for home and was just coming into Deer Park when I looked down and saw the temp gauge PEGGED again. I pulled the car in front of the greenhouses and was able to get the motor to cool down enough by gradually dumping fresh water in. Cover the hole with the bottle and let it boil then add more water. It eventually cooled down enough to get the gallon in but there is a SPURTING leak that looked to be coming from the water pump side and not hte hose..... but I will know more when I dig into it this weekend.

I made it the 10 miles home.

Out to soak for a short stint. My skin is utter garbage.

Got to see the last 3 minutes of the game as the oilers won in OT to tie the series.

Today I will take @stryeyz to work so I have the car to head down to Tekoa to fly today. There looks to be 5 or 6 of us that will be there and I'm going for longer flights if possible.
