Early, The Fog, Gate Repair Job, PDC, Hike, Watercolor, 3DP - Thursday
I was up earlier but still got to see the all 4s hit the clock yesterday, as I just did again this morning. My thumb is healing fast thankfully so the sleep I get is less interrupted by the pain.

It was SUPER thick fog at the house but not far away the school was in it's own little bubble of clear.

After getting the boys to school I got the car loaded with tools then a bit after 10- I headed up to the gate job. It is rather straight forward nicely as the Mighty Mule gates are not complex.

This is what I walked up to. The cover had come off the control board and the weather had done a number on it. I got my meter out and tested points all around the board. I got power in but no power would go out to the motors or anything external. Nicely I found the board on Mighty Mule's site and Rich found it on Amazon so it will be arriving today and I will go back and install it tomorrow.

This is an interesting setup for the car detection sensor.

The one for my gate is a long prophylactic looking thing buried in the ground. This is an above ground unit that wirelessly connects... I have some reading to do on it today.

Quite the foggy day, and it stayed so all day long....

PDC was on, the first night of the Premier League and MVG got the win over GVV.

Dog and I went for another mile hike and got it done a bit faster this time.

I had done my one watercolor earlier but it took till later to get the other 3 finished.

Making business cards up on the 3dprinter and ordered magnets to stick to them.

I picked R up after school and found the fucking fog stopped about 2 miles north of us where it was nice and sunny... Annoying given the temp difference all day... Foggy again today damn it.

Today I get the boys to school in a couple hours, get watercolors done, rest of daily stuff, finish pedals for my bike and hopefully test them out, keep trying to get the shitty printer to work, J's new pedal for his bass will be here, the magnets will be here for the business cards, then come up with dinner tonight.

Interesting auto sensor, I just use the key pad.... Nice that he found a replacement board!👍😀
Mighty Mule has them on their site so I expect it is common enough given the boards are separate from the cylinders now.
It's nice that they are separate, it makes repairs much more economical!!👍😀
I saw a disconnected black wire in the top picture, did you do that?
