Down Day, 3DP, Misty Sun Beamy Day, Watercolor Painting, PDC, Tea, The Glow, Seahawks - Saturday
I managed to sleep late yesterday thanks to the stupid sick. My entire day was spent in the house trying to keep myself from getting worse and trying to keep the aches and pains at bay. The printer was going early then and the pallet knives came off pretty fast.

It rained early but then moved off and left the rest of the day a misty and foggy scene as the snow and moisture evaporated in the warmer sun.

This is another painting board printed off. 6x8x.1 is just the right size for 1/4 sheets of 9x12.

I setup the table again, only the smaller one this time, and was painting before noon when the PDC finals came on to watch. This one came out okay, I was trying the pallet knife on wet but it didn't do what I expected. The paper quality plays a part in that I think. No texture like the 140lb paper. The rock looks okay on the left now that I look at it again.

Sun beams were the norm for the day as the sun sits just above the hill line and shines through the trees.

My painting station. I added a clean tub of water now for better mixes.

Wanted more definition in the mountain side.

The birds are a huddled flock this time of year as they pod around the farm to try and remain in the minimal sun available. One would think they are cold blooded the way they seek the sun... Maybe it's just their dinosaur genes expressing?

Hoping my garlic is fine with this wacko weather.

More knives printed.

Kinda a given that Littler would win the title.

A bit happier with this one. The water came out okay and there is a bit of perspective to the whole thing.

The mist was so pervasive all day it was wild. Normally it comes and goes but this was an all day misting.

The book has a page with this sort of scene that I tried. I totally borked the back ground but am pleased with the tree and shadow.

3:30pm and the sun was shining with BRIGHT BEAMS OF ORANGE AND PINK. I was sitting at my painting spot and was watching it morph. The horizontal striations were really awesome looking.

I focused on this section to try and paint it. I had the pic but did the bulk of it from memory and by looking at the hill for the shape and form.

Not horrible and vaguely looks like the picture. I am still a uber noob at this as is obvious by my output.

My oversized quart Kerr Widemouth Mason Jar is my normal jug for my morning green tea. Every morning I refill it at least twice and sometimes more. Nicely it gives me a half gallon of healthy fluid in the morning. I do mine English with Califia creamer and Ripple for protein.
Well, yesterday I refilled it at least 8 times if not 10. That is well over 2 gallons of tea. Mid afternoon I switched over to cold care and chamomile teas until bed.

Well, smack their asses and call them Betty, the Seahawks have managed to do something positive this year and are looking to be possibly in the mediocre bowl.

Today I still feel like shit but a bit better. The super ache is now just an ache and the cough has been suppressed a lot. 1 qt of tea in already I will be keeping it full again today. @stryeyz and the boys are going to go skiing today and I will be home working on the radiator replacement in the sled so I have transportation this week.

The light through the trees makes for wonderful photos. YYOur watercolours are really cool too. I hope you are well and strong again soon.
This time of year is always good for the backlit trees and mist with the sun so far to the south. Slowly the body is kicking the crap out, just not super fast.
Glad you are feeling a bit better my friend don’t overdo yourself today!😇
Ibuprofen is my best friend right now...
Definitely my friend, that should help!😇👍😊
