Coon, Slug, Hot Tub, Cat Door, Brakes, Sapphire, Kick Ball, Trailer - Thursday
Heard the sheep yelling yesterday morning at 5am and was looking out the screen at them when I saw a HUGE raccoon walking away from the house direction. Ran out with the shotgun but didn't want to shoot right by the open bedroom window so ran towards it and did get a shot off. It was at distance so only some pellets hit but it ran off like a shot. Pun intended.
Saw this slug as I was getting tools for my job for the morning.
Got my client's tub heating and she came home in the evening to her first soak in it.
Cut in another cat door and I like this design better than the other, the two halves lock together better. Was done by noon and headed home.
The sled has been grinding when stopping so it was time for new front brakes. Was home for 15 minutes then went to Deer Park Autozone for a new set. After getting home and letting the car cool off from the drive I got them swapped out. The outside driver side pad was the worst and the one grinding.
Got a quick sort done on the bag of gravel and found a really nice sapphire and the very clear stone.
I got dinner ready for us then I took the boys to kickball in Elk. It was a big game with 12+ on each team. The hour went by fast and they all looked like they were having a great time.
R pitching. His team lost by a lot but no one was really keeping score. Fun was had none the less.
It was 10 pm before I could hook the trailer up for this morning.
Been to town for grain and had a stashed 6 pack from the brewer in one barrel. Shoveled out trailer to sheep pen already. I have a quick visit this morning to one client's to see what supplies they have and go over list of to-dos, then taking holiday weekend off. Really need to mow again, work in garden, get a ride in maybe, Azure is this afternoon, then figuring out dinner.
