Chiro, Brush Cutting, Tree Cutting Launch Clearing, 3DPrinting Foot Board Riser, Flying Club Meeting - Tuesday

I was surprised I didn't feel like I needed the chiro yesterday morning but once I was rolling my muscles on the table I realized just how sore my back was/is. I got done and headed for home but chose NOT to go the way I came down and took the 395 north. When I got home I saw that there had been a wreck the normal way I go and would have been a huge backup. I chose.... WISELY.

The trail to the studio needed to be hacked back since the chokecherries were invading. I still need to run the mower around again.

Afternoon I grabbed my pole and hand saw and hiked back up to the launch site. The pines have some hanging branches that I was able to cut a couple of with the pole saw. I had to break the dead ones by yarding on the ends with the saw. There are a few higher branches that I will have to climb the tree to cut out.

Those few branches hanging to the left will go. That will be all I have to do on the big trees.

Next was hacking through the Fir tree stand. Some of the damn things were 6" diameter trunks and took forever to saw through.

I drug the trees all over to the fence line where they will be out of the way of for now and will eventually go in the pen.

I might have a few branches on the farther trees to take down now that I look at the pic.

The space is nicely opened and I may take the rest of the stand down.

So far this is the launch. Tomorrow the winds will be ON and out of the SW so I will be kiting for sure.

While in the chiro I figured out the riser for my harness foot board. It is adjusted as short as it will go (easily) and while on the table I realized I could print out the laptop risers I am using on my desk, but just scale them correctly. It took 4 hours to print in minimal infill but the came out perfect.

Now my heel has a 1 inch lift and in all adds about 7 ounces of weight.

We had our first meeting of our new flying club in Chewelah and I was first there of the 5 of us. Good beer and food and I was able to intimate the general sense of the other club effectively. We got a number of things figured out and decided on the 501c3 direction. The drive home was nicely mellow given it was after 7pm.

I got home and right away grabbed the riser that I had super glued a piece to that is the spreader to keep the risers spread apart and tight in the foot board flaps.

Out to soak while the boys bounded around on the trampoline.

I have my Dr. appointment this morning first thing after getting the boys to school, I should go h&f Scoop with them today but I need to stay home and get mowing done, work on the launch area more, likely reseed some stuff in the garden, work on cleanup around the yard, and more brush cutting along trails.
