Chiro, 3DP, Pressure Points, Garden Finished Winterizing, Bison, NHL, Bison Steaks, Squeak - Tuesday

I made sure to take a dry erase marker with me to my chiro appointment yesterday morning. Last week he had hit pressure points on my shoulder and arm that gave me a lot of relief from the pain for a few days. So this time I had him mark the spots with the pen so I could hit them myself.

I stopped for gas then hit up the bank to get the cashier's check to send off for my Mexico trip in January. Headed up the 395 to get home.

Coming down to Perry I could see Mt. Spokane had a nice dusting of snow across the top.

Back home the dragon was done on the printer. These come out really nice and only take about 3 1/2 hours to print out.

These are the 4 pressure points that I work on to reduce the pain levels.

The garden had to be finished up which was a lot of little stuff overall. The plastic first got flipped then folded for the winter.

Then I managed to get 4 posts pounded into the ground.

So I could get the fencing put up to keep the birds out of the garlic area.

About this time @stryeyz got home with the load of Bison.

IMG_20251028_133206.jpg

I got it all put into the freezer so she could go back to work.

IMG_20251028_133212.jpg

I had to add the shorter fencing to the bottom as it is the finer mesh to ensure the birds can't get through.

IMG_20251028_142041.jpg

The main garden is fully finished, save the row of leeks that are still in the ground by the greenhouse.

IMG_20251028_142406.jpg

Thor's hammer came out great. They are pencil toppers and I did them at 50% fill so they have some heft to them.

IMG_20251028_143802.jpg

The smallest garden spot had to get dealt with and I left a few of the cauliflower plants to see what happens to them.

IMG_20251028_152604.jpg

The greenhouse still had the pepper plants to pull so they all got yanked out and tossed in the tote.

IMG_20251028_153322.jpg

Then the plastic folded and irrigation lines coiled. With that I have the entire garden ready for winter.

It was hockey day where every team played. The pit/Phi game was really good and it was great to see Philly beat the Penguins.

IMG_20251028_173407.jpg

Pulled out bison steaks earlier and got them thawed.

IMG_20251028_174233.jpg

They went from game right to the next game.

IMG_20251028_175437.jpg

The bison cooked up great on the Blackstone.

IMG_20251028_181707.jpg

Another dragon printed off.

The Kraken came on eventually and they quickly got themselves in a deep hole. My knee chair had been making some squeaking and I needed to quiet it since I am up 2 - 3 hours before the rest of the house. I used some Hoppes to oil the main bolt and it "SHUT THE HELL UP" very nicely.

IMG_20251028_203200.jpg

I turned off the game 3 minutes before the Kraken began their comeback push where they managed to get 3 goals to tie it and go to OT where they lost. But at least they got a point for the tie.

Awake at 3am today as the rain pounded down hard outside. I got up and listened to it while writing this post. It just moved past right now and looks to clear up today. Boys have a half day of school then a long weekend, we have both boys' school conferences today, the 12 hour snake print will finish soon, and I will try to keep the pain as far away as possible.

I get a kick out of reading your postings of your day. Especially intrigued by your printing items. That is so amazing to me. You certainly have a lot of gardening like I do. Winterizing seems to take quite a lot of energy. I hope you had a bountiful harvest this season. Keep working on those pressure points, but don't overdo it as you will make them too sore. We do pressure points in our home all the time to relieve whatever ails. ;-)

I'm finally dialing back the gardening to make it easier on myself and to have more time available in the summers. The winterizing is not horrible as I have a good system down to make it as easy as possible. The 3dprinter amazes me sometimes with the things it will easily produce. I've been careful with the pressure points as I would go too far but need to be more cautious and only use them when I have to.
