Chipper, Car, Weedeating and Fixing Weedeater, Hay, Hay Cage, 3DP, Harvest, Car Wash - Sunday

Shit weekend. Yesterday morning I got the chipper moved to by the sheep pen as there are tons of branches that need to be chipped that they have stripped.

Dug into my garbage car and played with the starter interrupt in hopes that is my problem.

The shift lock solenoid is ziptied in the actuated position and has been for years it seems.

Around noon I went to weedeat and had the cutting head pop off the machine. Finally figured out it was the ring clip that had come off and allowed the head and gear to pop out. Fixed it and got back to cutting the grass.

Got the area across the creek cut, the area that is along the road. Trying to reduce fire danger.

Then cut around the old burn pile and the creek.

Went to get a couple bales of hay for the sheep, back to the hay they are used to over the years.

Unloaded one to pen and the other to store.

Rebuilt the hay cage and had to construct one side again as it was trashed.

The animals were much happier.

Printed a bike water bottle holder for storing the bottles in the house. It fits well.

Had a bunch of tomatoes, some peppers, and some cucs ready in the greenhouse.

Couple more holders popped off the printer.

While I cooked steak on the Blackstone I checked out the new flycatcher nest and saw the 3 soon to be fledgling chicks.

After dinner I pressure washed both cars to see how well it cleaned with just cold water. It did okay and got a good bit of road grime off. Didn't touch the sap spots though.

Slept like absolute dog shit last night and was awake every 15 - 30 minutes in pain all night long. I spent an hour this morning trying to massage the pain away. Today I go back to try and get the oil stain out. Have a job for Wed and still have more weedeating to do around the property, if my body will allow me to work. Hoping the Flexiril and ibu kick in soon so I won't be in so much pain all day.

The sheep and alpaca do a great job with much of the property, but they don't necessarily walk on a leash well 😝
