I managed to catch the bat the cat had brought in the house ALIVE yesterday morning. I let it go outside and it quickly flew off into the choke cherry tree nearby. Little dude was tiny but those wings are like 8 times the body size.
Went to my session in the morning which went well then after headed to Harbor Freight to buy a pressure washer. Nicely my job on Monday had paid most of the cost. I have a water feature / fountain to clean tomorrow that I need it for and we have just plain needed one for years so this was a good impetus for the purchase.

Got home and put it together then gave it a good testing.

The deck has never been cleaned well since the hose pressure is nowhere near enough to do the job. The 2k psi on the pressure washer sure does the job nicely though. Cleaned all the black off the top and got to spray clean all the cracks between boards.

The lower deck looks WAY WAY better now. I was able to clean to the railing of the dirt and moss that had grown or accumulated as well. It will take a bit of work to clean the upper deck off so I can pressure wash it. The upper has seen little moisture being under the pergola so that will be my task today.

The cucumbers are producing, slower than other years which is good since I am not selling produce and we can only eat so much so fast.

I was wandering the farm and ended up at the creek which is still barely flowing, thanks to the spring up stream a half mile. Moved around some rocks to deepen the channel a bit to allow more flow down our side of the Y. Thanks to debris and trees the Y is largely diverted our side.

I am rather surprised this variety of peas has continued to produce. Not nearly at the rate they were to begin with but there is still new growth and new peas that keep maturing to harvest size. It's not a ton but more than enough for us at any time.

Dinner was made on the Blackstone and the microwave. The new potatoes got micro zapped whole and cooked up wonderfully. We had 3 veggies grown on the farm as part of dinner with the wontons.

In the evening a fire started about 6 miles south of us and the entire region got called out. A spotter plane flew in from one of the other fires on the Res but the huge response managed to stop the fire quite quickly and it flew back off to the original fire it was on.

Cat caught a bird overnight and I found its carcass this morning in the kitchen. That is AFTER we put the bell on her collar...
Today I have a job for a client as a branch fell in the recent winds and partially blocked the golf cart path. So I will go buck it up and they have a couple other things for me. After I will clear the upper deck and pressure wash it. More work in the garden, I will get a ride in, load the car for Thursday morning's job, and figure out dinner in the evening.
