4am Grain Run, Spreading, RAIN, Dr, Thumbtack, Fleming's Fix It, 3D Printed Chess Board, Fly Tying, Session - Wednesday
It's just getting worse each morning now. 2:30am I was awake and then plopped on the couch to try for some more sleep but just gave up and got up. The weather had moved past an hour or so earlier but more was behind it.

4am I was on the road to town to get the load of grain. Nicely there was minimal traffic to contend with.

The fog was crazy thick in very patchy spots.

Why they don't have the lights yellowed is beyond me. Division could handle it at this time of the morning. And it would make the flow of traffic so much better.

Got to the brewery to find the 2 and a partial barrel waiting for me. I got them loaded up quickly then was soon back on the road home.

It's nice that all the traffic is coming INTO town as I am heading OUT of town back to the farm.

I got home and parked the car and trailer in the garden for a minute so could get my boots on. The printer had finished the print over night so I got a chance to see it then.

Out to the trailer I had my headlamp on to see and then spread the load around the garden.

The reduction in rows means much less need for the grain to be spread out in the main garden. All the garlic is in place so I have only half the rows now that need grain added for next season.

By 5:15am I had the trailer emptied and unhooked from the car.

Post done, boys to school, @stryeyz to work, then I headed to town again this time in the rain.

Had a bit of a wait for my appt. so got in a a bunch of Duo chess lessons. The appointment went good and my few scripts got re-upped. Once done I headed straight for home.

I had burned my thumb Sunday morning, a pretty solid bubble formed and took till mid day yesterday for the skin beneath to be solid enough that I could drain and remove the bubble.

SOOOOOO, I have been having TUBI on during the day and one of their major sponsors/commercials is Thumbtack. The commercial hits me in the face! It is the Southpark episode in real life! I've got the skills, experience, tools, and availability to try this as business and came up with this. Thanks to Grok for the image. I'm working on my various info sections now and am curious about how this may go. I know I will need a bit of advertising but that shouldn't be too hard in the local area.

Mid day the printer popped off the rest of the pieces for the chess board.

It was a bit of a pain to put together but it came out pretty killer.

This is a small board meant to fit the small travel pieces I printed out.

@stryeyz made a good point that the pieces should be other colors than the black and white to better stand out on the board.

The board is small but easily fits in the pocket. J has it now and will be taking it to school with him.

Mid day brought more rains which just kept adding to the monthly totals.

So I sat and tied a couple flies. I'm using only eagle feathers on these two. The SUPER fluff of the down then the hackles of the flight feather make this an interesting looking streamer.

It falls VERY slowly through the air and may be a problem to cast....

This is solely downy strands tied which makes this fly look like a giant white moth. I'm actually rather anxious to try this one out. I have it on a large nymph hook but may need a bit of added weight to it...

I had started the printer on the next set of chess board pieces and they were done minutes before we had to leave for our session.

Session went really good then we headed to the store to pickup a couple of my scripts and get a few groceries.

Home to a quicker dinner and I got the other parts for the chess board done before crashing early thanks to my super stupid early waking time. The board will get assembled this morning.

Again I was up at 2:30am this morning but managed an hour or so of sleep on the couch. I will get the boys to school in a while, put a new bulb in the yard light, go to N40 for softener salt and to hit the Fly Shop, PDC Worlds starts today with Littler defending playing the lowest seeded player, will get R after STEM, and maybe go throw the line at the water a bit to try out my flies.
