3DP, Weather, Roof Sweeping, Trampoline, PDC, Drip Edge, Sun Roof, North 40, House Of Fly - Friday
After a horrible night of sleep yesterday morning I had the 3d printer going early with some fidget rings. I did some searches and came up with a few different ones to try. Nicely none of them take very long to print.

Got the boys to school as the sunrise was muddled by the clouds. It looked like we might get some sun but it was just gray all day long.

I have a slew of various sized rings. They all spin rather smoothly straight off the plate.

The rain looked like it was headed for us mid morning.

So with the threats of rain I had to go get the rest of the roofs swept off around the farm.

My short bit of sunshine I got for the day.

The studio roof was easy thanks to the metal roofing I installed on it.

It was time to take the trampoline down for the winter. I refuse to leave it up to get snowed on and destroyed so I always take it down each Fall. The thing has lasted us many years now because of that.

PDC is on and there were some damned close matches.

And then there were blowouts like Barney got.

The drip edge on the front of the art studio had come loose so I had to go cram it back under the edge of the roofing and then got a screw in to hold it for good.

The sled's sunroof has been a leaking piece of shit for far too long thanks to the ancient seals around it. I grabbed a roll of double sided foam tape and got that all around the back lip. I closed the sunroof and eventually got it to moosh down and seat properly with the foam nice and tight. I covered the front of the sunroof edge with the same foam to try and seal as best as I can for the coming winter. I just can't open the sunroof now and have to remember that.

It looked like the rain was going to hit about 3pm and I was super sore from being on the roofs so my afternoon was spent in the house.

After @stryeyz got home from work we all loaded up in the car and headed down to the new North 40 store which is about 4 times the size of the old store. And they have a HOUSE OF FLY!!!!! Their fly fishing section! And HOLY SHIT I found my next fly rod.

Not those top shelf ones... $500, $800, $1200....

Those bottom shelf ones. The $200 rod looks quite nice to me and the $60 reel looks like a nice upgrade. It will be a 6 or 7 weight rod which will make it so I can actually fish bigger waters and not JUST creeks like my current super light rod allows.

SO BADASS to have this shop miles from the farm!

ALL THE TYING SUPPLIES! ALL THE TIED FLIES!!! It was so awesome!

The store is huge and will be even bigger as they are adding a garden center to the side.

Back home we had dinner, watched Solar Opposites, and I got properly sized rings printed for @stryeyz. I also got a flexi dragon printing which finished overnight and came out pretty amazingly good this morning.

No rain overnight and today looks mostly dry. PDC is on now, Utd should get destroyed Brighton, the printer will be going again, I will call AAA to get my truck tow setup as my key delivers to the tow company today, then this evening is Trunk or Treat at @stryeyz work.

North 40 looks impressive my friend, always nice to have a store of this caliber close by!!👍😀
This is the new store they built, the biggest of all their stores. The old one is half a mile north and is 1/4 the size of the new. It's like the size of a wallmart super
Wow… Impressive!👍😀
With fishing and skiing and so many people enjoying the outdoors this will definitely be a successful business expansion!!
There about 1000 new/in construction/planned homes within 10 miles of it so yeah it will be very worth it for them
Sounds like you live in a booming community, my friend!😊
Maybe it’s a good thing to live on your farm!😇
