3DP, Long Chiro Visit, Tree Trimming, Brush and Limb Hauling, Chiefs Spanked - Tuesday
After getting the boys to school yesterday morning I got a print going which I barely got done before having to leave for my appointment. I had to get the supports pulled off while still warm so as not to break the piece later. Fry came out pretty good with 1% infill.
I headed into town and went to get blood drawn for my yearly labs then drove up to the chiro. I was about 15 minutes early but it worked out great. I went to get traction done and after went to the room where I got abuse all the awful painful spots for about 45 minutes. It was to the point at the end of the time that I was getting a bit sore in spots from too much abuse. In the end it helped immensely though the pain is still there, just diminished a bit.
After getting home I took it easy for a while to try and not instantly undo all the time at the chiro. I got the 2nd Fry printing and was able to get it right as it finished.
Really this is me still learning the printer and the proper setting. Both came out pretty good in the PLA with less precise settings than other prints.
After noon I headed down to the creek and kept trimming away at the stand. There is still more that needs to come out but so far it is really looking a lot better.
I had some good sized piles that needed to be moved across the creek to the burn site. I stacked out branches atop a larger one then dragged the pile over the bridge and up the hill.
The boys helped haul some more when they got home from school but didn't get long to help as they had banana bread to make.
The PLA containers are not the greatest. The threads did not print well and broke when I tried to screw the caps on. The caps do have a non threaded adapter so they pop onto the base, but the threads are worthless.
Trying brake handles still for my paraglider and went and hacked apart the model to try and widen it but forgot to paint the seams. They are too thin for the webbing so won't work.
I figured out a different position at the oche so I stand parallel to the board with both feet touching the oche. It minimized the pain in my back such that I got a few 5 minute or so sessions. My throw is getting better, slowly.
This storm cell was ever so slowly moving past us to the north and just dropped a bit of rain. It was a pretty heavy looking down pour I could see out the window.
These got borked and are nowhere near right. Tried in ABS and had it stick to the plate pretty bad. I likely will have to swap plates today.
The Chiefs played game 3 in Spokane and got totally destroyed. MH was so much faster and totally had their number, it was a bit sad. I'm really hoping they do better tonight since we are going to the game.
Got out to soak knowing the Chiefs were going to lose.
Will get the boys to school soon, the rain has passed now, I'll haul the rest of the branches and maybe burn the pile, will get the printer going again, Thrive delivers and will need to be put away, then this evening we are going to the Chiefs game.

"Nice prints! How long did it take you to dial in those settings for such clean PLA results?"
Sounds like the chiropractor helped a little bit!👍
Hopefully the hot tub helps a little bit more!😊
