3DP, Harvests, Garlic, Chicks, Truck Engine Removed, Boys, Hair Cut - Tuesday
I got the printer going first thing yesterday morning on the blade holders. I've got the blades coming today so I can put them all together. I figure I'll give these out to any pilot who wants one.
Picking the squash at smaller sizes to keep from having them develop elephantiasis or turn to Akira.
The cucumbers are doing better and more consistent now.
A few peppers were finally ready-ish.
The second set printed. I have half a dozen printed out now, two put together.
The seed garlic went to the cooler for stratification before planting in October. I may not get the whole 90 days in but 75 - 80 days should still be good.
I looked in the coop and found a chick hatched out.
Around noon I was out working on my truck again finally. I got all the rest of the bolts removed from the bell housing to separate the engine from the transmission, jacked up the trans a bit, then went to find a chain.
I ended up having to take apart a piece of a tire chain I had found at some point, I needed the side chain on it.
That allowed me to hoist the engine out of the truck with the cherry picker.
I pulled the hoist back and the engine then got mounted to the engine stand.
Before noon the boys went over to their friend's house across the highway. We rode across the highway then they rode the couple miles to their house. On their way home I rode the scooter over and met them by the ranch and we rode back home.
The point of all this, getting the crank removed and find out how fucked the bearing channel is...
I managed to get the engine out without taking off the exhaust but it will have to come off to put the engine back in.
Pair of chicks, the wet one R had "helped" out of the shell so we went out to check it was looking like it might be okay.
Mid summer hair cut since it is to be near 100F today.
I'm going to hike and fly Scoop this morning by myself since everyone else is going this evening, then will be back at work on the truck and in the garden this afternoon.
