3DP, Chiro, The Sled, Keyboard, Tree Trimming, Scapes, Waters, XAlps, Lettuce, Raspberries - Tuesday
Was a bit surprised that the wall holders printed out okay stood on their edge. I added a brim around them which apparently was enough to hold them in place. The first 4 were a test so I go a bigger group on to print after.
Went to my chiro appointment which was good though I could have used longer on the table to roll out knots. On the way home the sled overheated AGAIN!!!!! I parked at Yoke's then opened the hood to see that the water had boiled out of the cap. At this point there could only be one other simple fix, the thermostat must have died. I got water in it again and made it home.
Super stoked on the keyboard. It is for my phone since I despise touch screen "keyboards". This works really well, pairing took a sec to figure out, but the keys have super nice feel and action, is pretty responsive, light weight, and usb-c. There are many times I get a wall of text text message and since I refuse the touch board I only ever respond short and simple. This will allow for me to actually type responses better, or just even make notes.
The next batch came off the printer and they will work quite well for wall hanging as they slip into each other.
I was down by the creek hacking away more of the branches and trying to clear the area out for us to use. One of the chokecherries had finally given up and fallen across the creek. I had to cut a very small section still attached at the base.
Just about the last of the scapes. I saw a handful more that are poking their tips up but haven't shown the nub.
The asshat alpaca keeps tipping the tubs over standing in the water so I had to go fill them again. At least the sheep have clean water in the barrel since she won't stand in that.
Bad ass that Jared Scheid has made goal! Our lone US entrant did it, he finished the 2025 X-Alps race!
The elderberries are in full flower all around the region and this year should be a hugely bumper crop of them. I will harvest the half dozen bushes we have on the farm but then will be gathering from all the various bushes I know of all around the region.
The lettuce row had enough large leaves for me to harvest for dinner. A solid fat stack of leaves.
@stryeyz picked up the new thermostat for me after work and brought it home. Since the sled got so hot those times I am pretty positive that it destroyed the thermostat which is now not able to properly do its job so the engine keeps getting too hot. I will get this new one installed today.
While dinner was in the oven we wandered the property a bit. The boys have their digging spot by the creek and they have exposed a good sized rock and nearly have it out.
The raspberries are ripening fast and R went out to pick a bunch before dinner.
Got in a soak for a while as we fought off the sky vampires.
This morning the boys and I will go for a bike ride, I'll swap out the thermostat in the sled, roll the mower around, clean more around the house, I have to add another super to the hive, and I should hit N40 for a case of 20ga while still on sale.

Hope the new thermostat does the trick!👍
I have had a thermostat go bad years ago, it happens not very common, but still it happens!🙄
I think what trashed my thermostat was that I put leak stop in the radiator and it jammed in the shut position!😳
Yeah I've had them go bad on cars before too. Thankfully this one is super easy to get to, cheap, and not buried.
That’s definitely a plus!👍😊
I’ve had them where they are buried deep, and the housing is cheap pot metal that wants to leak after replacing the thermostat! 🙄😳🤬
