3am, 3DP, Sunrise, Appointments, Happy Dog, Bike Ride, Vest, Watercolor, Tag Line Run, Weather - Tuesday
#FML!
The joys of waking at 3am were enforced this morning as I was awake earlier than yesterday.... At least the temps are not frigid but that means no snow for us, just more rain inbound.

So much for snow, here comes the rain. At least it will melt the ice on the driveway but there likely will not be much on the mountain for skiing...

Got the carabiners printed out in 100% infill and the largest is the one I used later in the day for the tag line run.

Sunrise as I was dropping the boys at school. High cirrus showing he incoming system.

Carabiner pulley printed in case I needed it for the tag line run.

Stopped to drop the return of the wrong vest at the UPS store, then went to my weekly session which was good but unfortunately the advice ended up wrong for the day... As I learned later.
Then I was at Indigo to see what the issue with my foot is. The base of my 2 toes, swelling and joint pain is making running rather hard, even walking is tough thanks to it. The xray didn't show anything major so now I got a referral to podiatry to see if they can give me an answer.

On my way home I stopped at North40 to get Jax a pair of his favorite toy balls. He was a little shy with the mat first but then took to them especially once the boys got home from school.

On my way into the farm I got my new vest in the mail so went out for a ride to test it out. It was mid 30sF and sunny still. This was the hill up out of the valley which is a bit narrow and had been hit with ice melt really well.

I LOVE this vest. Been trying to find a good running/cycling vest that fits snug, is lighter weight, and is warm. THIS VEST was super well worth getting. It is hooded and is really a light weight soft shell, just sleeveless. My phone fit in one of the pockets nicely so I didn't need to wear my running/water carrying vest.

Little did I know that the 24 minute ride would lead to the next 8 hours of constant coughing. It felt like my uvula had something hanging on it tickling my throat out of nowhere, and consistently all afternoon and evening. MADDENING and painful!
More 42s on the weather station...

Can't see it well. There are trees in there, white outed by the snow.

Too much blue out of the tube needed to be used on the next quadrants.

I finally got up the nerve to head out and get the tag line run. I had a bit if trepidation about it but in the end it worked out perfectly.

My railroad spike ladder is perfect and really not scary now. I climbed up it quickly and got the line connected to the line. Then I used the drop line to drag the tag line across the creek and up to the transformer pole.

Both ends are tied off now and I just need to call the tech today and have him schedule the actual install again.
@stryeyz brought chicken home and I got potatoes and a salad made for dinner.

Rain is inbound now and likely to hit in the next hour or so. Then likely to continue the next day or two. I have to get the boys to school in a few hours, call the tech this morning, get the printer filament changed and keep printing the fabric pieces as I am close to enough for finishing the tunic top, schedule my podiatry appointment, do dailies, and get in run or ride at some point, then R has practice this evening.

Very nice nonconductive carabiners my friend. Looks like it worked out perfect!👍😊
I'm happy the PLA was strong enough to handle the weight and the forces as I was yarding on the drop line. I was a bit concerned it might snap but it held well.
Excellent to hear my friend, sounds like your 3-D printer is coming handy!👍😀
Well over 1300 prints finished since I have got this thing in Nov 24.
That's awesome, sounds like you're definitely getting good use of a 3-D printer!!!💪😀
