16 Mile Ride, Robin, Tree, Garden Tilling, School Fun Run, Trailer, Hen, Stats - Friday
Watched last stage of the tour yesterday morning before taking the boys to school. Would love to paraglide the Alps.

It took a bit for the sun to warm things up so it was closer to 9:30 before I got out on the bike. I headed straight for the lake and found no one there for a change. I did a loop around and headed back out the trail. I was really trying to keep myself in zone 2 and not push but just ride more casual but had already climbed one hill.

So I decided to go climb the hill where the helicopter takes off and lands, the place there on the right.

Casual then along the level through the neighborhood.

Onto D-C road and trying to just cruise.

But had the next hill to climb.

I passed the tracks and turned around at North rd before heading back east on D-C.

Kept seeing 121 HR so kept a constant pace back. I wanted more than 15 miles so I did a run down Perry and back to D-C then back home the way I started.

I reset the heart rate zones to let it decide my levels and it said that ride was Sprint(anaerobic) which I did not feel at all.
Mid day I was out looking for chicken egg deposits around the farm and stopped to look at the robin. It gave me the stink eye but didn't bolt like normal.

I also noticed a tree that will have to get taken down at the corner of the coop. I will be able to tension to a tree on the hill to direct it away from the power lines when I drop it.

The garden got tilled again so now it can be finally planted.

Didn't take too long but my shoulder knew I had worked.

R's elementary school had a fun run which @stryeyz and R went to right at 4 but I went and picked up J after track practice then he and I met them there.

It was great watching R as he just kept truckin around the loop at a moderate jogging pace. He kept going.

And going.

And going for over 30 laps. Kids falling out to their parents all around him and he just kept on like the energizer bunny.

Then the boys got in some wall ball which J hasn't played in a couple years since he was in 4th grade.

Once back home I got the trailer hooked up for the grain run I have done already.

Our broody hen sitting on about a dozen eggs. Not exactly the most secure place but she IS right next to the brooder so it won't be far to move her and chicks.

Been to town for the grain and unloaded it already. Nice sunrise on the drive. I'll put the new chain on my bike, probably get another mellow ride in to pass 700 miles for the year so far, hopefully get the garden setup and maybe partially planted, and at some point go help or just watch @stryeyz try out her new wet suit at the lake.

Interesting thing I noticed in my ytd stats. 49 rides for 49 hours. 14.2 mph avg speed and 14.2 mile average distance. 143 rpm max cadence and 1421 ft max descent 1417 ascent.

Sounds like a cool start to a beautiful weekend my friend, have a great Saturday!!😎👍
That must be a portable tilling machine I have never seen before. It will definitely be a very useful machine instead of the heavy duty tractor we often hire here.
It's a much better tiller than my old one, this one is much more powerful and takes way less time to till my garden space.
Does it take much fuel or diesel.
Here we still engage in manual labour of tilling the land with hoes
If only we can get something like this and at an affordable price it will make our farm work here less laborious.
How much does this cost
