12.8 Mile Ride, Confetti, Peas, Eagle Debris, Norway, Cold Plunge - Sunday
Yesterday morning I went out for a ride early. I was going to go farther but had worn my long sleeve jersey and it was too warm for that already so just made it an out and back. It was along the highway so was fast. I found oodles of stuff along the way so stopped a bunch of times to gather but still managed to stay in threshold for much of the ride.
Nice average speed.
J had to pop the confetti thing from the roof as we all watched.
While @stryeyz and the boys went to town I was picking peas and got a shirt full. We have like nearly 10 pounds in the fridge now.
I heard the baby eagle squeaking like a giant bitch in the nest so went up the hill to wander the property and tell it as much. One of the parents came back and it finally shut up. I found a few more things that had been flown in to try and feed it.
World cup was on and it was GLORIOUS to watch Brazil lose to Norway! The only time I will root for Halaand as I hate Man City. Unfortunately Mexico lost to England in the evening.
North 40 had cold plunges on sale so they came home with one earlier and I spent some time in the afternoon getting the base built then set it up and filled it. I have a submersible pump that will go in and we will put chlorine in to keep the water good.
Today the boys and I go to a client's so I can build stairs which they will help fill in with dirt as they are also gathering more gold balls. I have a bunch of tasks to do there as well. I hope to get much of the list done today as tomorrow is going to be taken and they are leaving Thursday so the less I have to don on Wednesday the better. It is to be HOT as well.
