The pavement begins right after the crossing but so did the climb. From here it was 1.5 miles of uphill until I hit the crest by Wild Rose then it's all downhill except for a few hundred yard section after the second railroad crossing. I hit my highest speeds on the downhills and managed to make it home at 33 minutes. Slowly getting faster.

I had forgotten to go back in and get the queen cage out of the hive so I suited up and headed up. I learned a few things which I have to do differently. First of all the window HAS to be closed. Second I should use red lights. Third they are going at the hive top feeder so I need to add more syrup soon. And lastly I will likely need to add a super in a week or two at the rate they are building.

Went to check on the creek after the stump removal and it is in the best shape I have seen it. The flow is exactly right, no blockages, and the water has removed the mounds of sand that had accumulated.

The 3-0 aggregate helped make sure Utd won. In a severe surprise they actually won a match. I was paying attention to the darts more than the soccer.

@stryeyz has her craft show Saturday so I got a bracelet stand printed for her. Weight the bottom to keep it in place and the bracelets slide on the rod.

Luke v Luke and Humphries got the win to defend in Leeds. I didn't get to see the end of the match as I had my wing in the car and was heading up to the middle school to kite.

I was picking the boys up at 4 from STEM so figured I would find a spot to kite around the school. Behind the middle school I found a nice open grass field and got the wing out and got some kiting in. The problem then became the winds were FUCKED. I can only think that it was thermals coming through. The wind would die off then it would start to build but it would shift direction 180 degrees, as the spinning thermal came through and the front would hit, then the side, then the back, all with different wind directions.

It made kiting VERY difficult. I got about 45 minutes in before I gave up and went to wait for them.

I made dinner, we ate, and after I was scrubbing my tea jug when the lip cracked off. This made me a VERY SAD PANDA. It's an ancient Atlas mason jar that has the cooling lines in the base from when it was hand blown into a mold. Really not happy it broke. I had to find just some regular mason jar now.

The Caps won their game and there were some pretty big hits during. Playoff hockey kicks ass.

I slept rather shitty last night and woke up constantly this morning. I'll get the boys to school then do a few things around the house then I am heading down to Tekoa to fly today.
