I was just fascinated at how strategic the Liberals were. The right time, the right enemy, the right amount of fear to the masses.

Its about wrong versus right.

What Trump did/is doing is wrong. What Carney is doing is right. Canada Strong. No need to bent a knee to a King.

That is not correct. Of course you can believe whatever you want but when you look at the totality of an economy, the world is becoming less dependent on non renewable energy.

Not true. Don't forget that many Albertans today came from Atlantic Canada.

which would essentially make Canada one of the richest countries on the planet...Except for, the Liberal government stopping the pipelines from being built at every turn.

You know, Canada is not poor and its future look very good when compared to many other economies. Of course there is room for improvement but let us not overlook the obvious. The Liberals did buy TMX pipeline and it will produce much needed cash flows to other markets than the USA. We will not need to sell to USA below fair market price. This is the sad part of Trump attacking Canada and saying they do not need us. Maybe they should return all the profits they made from our oil that they sold for profit to other nations.

So far, only 3 seats short of a majority. They did get the popular vote. And since both Conservative and NDP leaders lost their seats, I would be more concerned about them than Liberal. It is important to have a strong opposition party to keep a minority government in check.

I think Canada is about to go through some big changes and soul searching over the next few months...

Agree, and much soul searching has already taken place. I am thankful to Trump for making Canadian's more aware of what is happening next door. Get ready for the American migration into Canada. !LOLZ
