Holozing - Electric Rabbit is a Cowboy from the Wild West Fan Art - [ENG-ESP]

Hello dear friends of Holozing, I hope you are all doing very well wherever you are, I want to share with you a fan art of the cute creature Electric Rabbit, something I like to do is take the characters and put them in a very different context, that amuses me a lot and I consider it creative. For this opportunity I have been inspired by the Wild West, one of my favorite genres of cinema, so Electric Rabbit is now Blondie, for those who have ever seen The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Blondie is the character of the great Clint Eastwood. So I have drawn Electric Rabbit with the outfits of the good, I hope you like it.

Hola queridos amigos de Holozing, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien donde quiera que estén, quiero compartir con ustedes un fan art de la linda criatura Electric Rabbit, algo que me gusta hacer es tomas los personajes y ponerlos en un contexto muy diferente, eso me divierte muchísimo además de que lo considero creativo. Para esta oportunidad me he inspirado en el lejano oeste, uno de mis géneros favoritos del cine, así que Electric Rabbit ahora es Blondie, para aquellos que alguna vez han visto El Bueno, El Malo y El feo, Blondie es el personaje del gran clint Eastwood. Así que he dibujado a Electric Rabbit con los atuendos de el bueno, espero que les guste.

PROCESS

I made the sketch on cardboard, I tried different positions but none of them convinced me, it was also difficult for me to see that the shape was adequate, so I decided to draw Electric Rabbit with his enormous revolver almost emitting smoke through the tubes.

Hice el boceto en una cartulina, probé posiciones distintas pero ninguna me convencía, también se me hizo difícil ver que la forma era adecuada, así que decidí dibujar a Electric Rabbit con su enorme revolver casi expidiendo humo por los tubos.

I used my Prismacolor school colored pencils; they're very good and have very vibrant colors. I started by painting the eyes. From the beginning, I wanted to keep them the same color as the original design. I didn't want to change the design too much, to better fit Cowboy's outfit.

Utilicé mis lápices de colores de la línea Prismacolor escolares, son muy buenos y con colores muy vivos. Comencé a pintar los ojos, desde un principio quise dejar los ojos tal cual el color del diseño original, no quise cambiar mucho el diseño, para adaptar mejor la vestimenta de Vaquero.

After painting the eyes green, I began to paint the face with the dominant orange color of the Electric Rabbit creature. Little by little it is taking shape and you can see the direction the drawing is taking.

Luego de pintar los ojos de color verde comencé a pintar el rostro con el color naranja dominante en la criatura Electric Rabbit, poco a poco va tomando forma y se puede apreciar el rumbo que va tomando el dibujo.

Next, I begin painting the hat. I tried to make it look similar to Clint Eastwood's, but I added other details to differentiate it. I painted his enormous ears and also the poncho he wore throughout the Dollar Bill trilogy. Here, I painted it a redder color to match the character's orange color.

Seguidamente comienzo a pinatr el sombrero, traté de hacerlo parecido al de Clint Eastwood pero agregué otros detalles para diferenciarlo. Pinté sus enormes orejas y también el poncho que usaba en toda la trilogía del dolar, aquí lo hice de un color mas rojo para que combinara con la esencia del personaje cuyo color es naranja.

After that, I finished painting most of their outfits. I also added the revolver. I wanted to make it a Remmington, haha, although I don't think Clint used it much in his movies. After painting the drawing, I blended all the colors with a brush or mineral oil. Finally, I used a fine-point marker to draw all the lines, and that's how it was finished.

Después de eso terminé de pintar la mayor parte de sus atuendos. También agregué el revolver, quise hacer un Remmington jejeje, aunque creo que Clint no lo usaba mucho, en sus películas. Después de pintar el dibujo difuminé todos los colores con un pincel u aceite mineral, por último con un marcador de punta fina hice todas las líneas del dibujo y así quedo finalizado.

FINAL WORK

What did you think of the result? All I needed was a reward sign, "Dead or Alive," hehe. I really liked the finish; the outfit matches the Electric Rabbit's color scheme, and I also think the character's essence remained intact even when very different details were added. For now, this has been my contribution. I hope to return soon with a new idea. I'll say goodbye until another opportunity.

Qué les ha parecido el resultado? solo me faltó poner un letrero de recomensa vivo o muerto jeje. Me gustó mucho el acabado, el atuendo combina con el tipo de color que es Electric Rabbit y también creo que la esencia del personaje quedó intacta acún cuando se le agregaron detalles muy diferenes. Por ahora este ha sido mi aporte, espero volver pronto con alguna nueva idea, me despido hasta una nueva oportunidad.
