Milwaukee es el único equipo con la menor ventaja con cuatro juegos en la azotea de la Central seguidos por los Cardenales, mientras Bravos y Dodgers disfrutan sin despeinarse. En la liga Americana, las cosas no están nada claras. Cada líder tiene a un inmediato perseguidor con un juego o menos de distancia.
