Las noticias gravitando sobre los campos de entrenamiento no paran, más aún, con la cercanía del Clásico Mundial de Béisbol a escasas dos semanas para la voz de ¡Play ball! en Tokio el 05 de Marzo. Una de éstas notas, surgió desde el George Steinbrenner Stadium, recinto donde los Yankees de Nueva York entrenan. Resulta que "El Juez" Aaron Judge se encontraba en práctica de bateo simulado y en el último turno de la tarde, le cantaron el tercer strike para poncharse. Como no estuvo de acuerdo con la decisión se tocó el casco para desafiar el conteo y la pantalla del jardín central desplegó el resultado: el pitcheo era bajo y se cambió la decisión. Al siguiente lanzamiento castigó la pelota para un doble y al finalizar su actuación fue entrevistado para MLB. Aseguró que su tocayo manager Boone, les aupó para que desafiaran lanzamientos, si desde su perspectiva pensaban debían hacerlo ¿Por qué tal declaración es importante?
