最近关注到我国前11个月外贸顺差破万亿美元的新闻,本以为行业整体向好,可最近浏览招聘软件,跑面试才发现,外贸圈的冷热反差大得惊人。 有的公司面试时一派热火朝天,业务区,样品区忙碌异常,HR直言“往年还有旺季淡季之分,今年没有淡季”;反观另一些企业,比如我们,招聘专员都不知走了几个,业务团队常见常新,或许万亿顺差的红利基本被风口赛道的企业包揽,它们要么深耕高附加值领域,要么卡位产业链核心环节;而死守传统品类、没找到新方向的企业,只能在存量市场里艰难挣扎。
不过也有守着老本行突围的案例:听说有人给风口企业做定制配套,还有人转型跨境定制服务,靠差异化保持市占率。
“说到底,小外贸人破局无非两条路:要么咬牙挤进高景气赛道分杯羹,要么在老本行里对接热门领域的细分需求,选对适配自己的路才最关键。”这是道听途说来的,或许如此之高大上只适合过过耳朵,经营策略岂是随便谁都能讨论的?

Lately, I saw that China's trade surplus passed a trillion dollars this year. I thought things were going well for everyone in foreign trade. But from job hunting and interviews, I see it's a mixed bag.
Some companies are super busy—floors packed, samples everywhere. HR told me, "We used to have slow seasons. Not this year."
Other places, like mine, can't keep recruiters or sales staff. Teams keep changing.
It looks like the boom is mostly for companies in hot areas—those with premium products or key supply chain roles. Those stuck in old-school trade are just fighting for scraps.
But there are exceptions. Some stuck to their niche but pivoted—like making custom parts for trending industries, or switching to tailored cross-border services. They found a way to stand out.
Bottom line: Small traders have two real choices: break into a growing industry, or find a special need within your own field that ties into what's hot. Pick what fits you best.
(Of course, this is just talk from the sidelines. Strategy isn't something we can all just figure out over coffee.)
