今昔冬三九的温差 Temperature Gap: Winter's Third Nine-Day Period (Past & Present) 【中文/English】

已入冬三九，天气确实比前几天冷了几分，裹紧外套出门时，倒也能感受到深冬该有的寒意。可比起小时候的冬天，这份冷实在温和得太多，那些刻在记忆里的凛冽冬景，如今早已难觅踪迹。

小时候的三九天，是真正的冰天雪地。房檐下悬挂的冰溜子又粗又长，像一排排透明的冰锥，阳光照在上面泛着寒光，午间阳光充足是，冰水滴滴答答落下。清晨推开窗，大概率能看到漫天雾凇，树枝上、篱笆上全裹着一层厚厚的白霜，走在下面像进了童话世界，可寒风一吹，就像小刀子似的扎得脸生疼，连呼吸都带着白雾。河塘的冰层厚厚的，即使迎着寒风也要在冰面上划上一会。

再看如今的三九，差别大得让人恍惚。湖里的水依旧在流动，夜晚的灯光洒在水面上波光粼粼，看不到半点结冰的迹象。别说房檐上的长冰溜子，就连薄薄的冰碴都少见，雾凇也成了稀罕物，寒风虽有，但再也没有了当年那种刺骨的凛冽，裹件羽绒服就能轻松抵御。

时光匆匆，光阴不仅改变了生活，连冬天的模样都变了。那些曾经习以为常的冰天雪地，如今成了藏在记忆里的旧景，偶尔想起，竟还带着几分怀念。

We’re now in winter’s third nine-day cold period. The weather is a bit colder than the past few days. When I go out with my coat zipped up tight, I can feel the deep winter chill. But compared to winters when I was a kid, this cold is much milder. Those harsh winter scenes I remember so well are hard to find now.
When I was little, the third nine-day period was a real world of ice and snow. Thick, long icicles hung under the eaves, like rows of clear ice cones shining coldly in the sun. At noon, when the sun was bright, the ice melted and dripped. Early in the morning, opening the window, I’d probably see rime everywhere—branches and fences were all covered with a thick layer of white frost. Walking under them felt like stepping into a fairy tale. But the cold wind stung my face like a sharp knife, and even my breath turned into white mist. The pond was covered with thick ice; we’d still skate on it for a while, even in the cold wind.
Now, the third nine-day period is totally different—it’s surprising how much things have changed. The lake water is still flowing; night lights reflect on the surface, sparkling with no sign of freezing at all. Long icicles under the eaves are gone, and even thin ice chips are hard to see. Rime has become a rare sight too. There’s still cold wind, but it’s no longer as piercing as before. A down jacket is enough to keep me warm easily.
Time passes quickly. It has changed not just our lives, but also what winter looks like. Those ice and snow scenes that used to be common are now just old memories. When I think about them sometimes, I can’t help feeling a little nostalgic.
