年货收尾 New Year Shopping, Done 【中文/English】

年前在网上买的最后一批快递，总算都到齐啦！芒果干、金桔、松花蛋，一一拆开快递规整好，就等过年啦～ 唯独最期待的沃柑，驿站打电话说包装破了，还流了汁液，我直接拒收了，有点小可惜，但也不算啥大事，就当是采购路上的小插曲吧

现在刷直播，总能看到主播们不遗余力地推销年货大礼包；超市里更是热闹，人们推着满载年货的购物车，水果、蔬菜、坚果、鸡鸭鱼肉样样齐全，扑面而来全是年味儿。说真的，现在条件好了，根本不缺吃的，超市里琳琅满目，手机上下单当天就能送到家，平时想吃啥随时都能买着。

可为啥大家还是执着于年前囤货呢？年复一年都是这样。我想了想，其实囤的从来不是缺的东西，就是图个热闹、图个过年的仪式感。不是非要馋那一口菜、那一口水果，就是想把冰箱塞得满满当当，等家人聚在一起的时候，桌上有吃有喝、热热闹闹，这才是我们心里习惯的、真正过年该有的样子.

The last packages I ordered before the New Year have finally arrived. Dried mango, kumquats, and preserved eggs—everything is unpacked and put away, ready for the holiday. The only disappointment was the mandarins I was most excited about. The pickup station said the box was damaged and leaking, so I refused it. A little disappointing, but not a big deal—just a small hiccup.
These days, livestreams are full of hosts selling New Year gift packs. Supermarkets are just as busy. Shopping carts are packed with fruit, vegetables, nuts, meat, and fish. The New Year feeling is everywhere.
To be honest, we don’t really lack food anymore. Stores are full, and with a few taps on the phone, groceries can be delivered the same day. We can buy almost anything whenever we want.
So why do we still stock up before the New Year every year? I realized it’s not about need. It’s about the feeling. It’s about the ritual. We fill the fridge so that when family comes together, there’s food on the table, drinks ready, and the house feels warm and lively. That’s what the New Year means to us.
