Dragon Head-Raising Day Meets the Spring Equinox[中文/English]

Yesterday was both Dragon Head-Raising Day and the Spring Equinox — a double lucky day. The afternoon sun was warm, so I went to the Haihe River for a small ritual called “collecting dragon energy.” I learned this idea from Yuanbao, and it was new to me too.
I walked along the river with the flowing water, feeling spring in the air. Yuanbao said walking by the river on this day means gathering good energy. Standing in the noon sun warms your back and brings strength for the year. Watching the water flow helps bad luck drift away while good luck slowly comes. Crossing a bridge means leaving troubles behind and moving toward smoother days.
By the river, some people were fishing quietly. Others walked along the bank with nets, watching the water and hoping for a catch. A few red-billed gulls flew overhead, sometimes diving for food. People on the bridge smiled and waved at them. The whole scene felt calm and comforting.
Listening to the water, feeling the warm sun and soft breeze, I enjoyed the simple ritual and the fresh energy of spring. Nothing complicated — just small, peaceful moments. May this special day bring peace, good luck, and happiness in the days ahead.
