Trip to Kotli Sattian

Hey dear readers

I was absent for long, busy traveling and collecting memories, moments and remembrance 🫠

My 2 cousins planned to visit me, so I planned complete itinerary where and when to visit.

They came on Friday evening from Lahore, I prepared a traditional dinner (Sobat) will share complete blog on Sobat recipe and origin it belongs, soon.

On Saturday morning we were all ready to visit Kotli Sattian for 2 nights and 3 days.

Kotli Sattian is situated about 50 km from Islamabad, bordered by Jhelum River on the south and Soan River on the Southwest, dense pine trees, canopies, rolling green hills, overlooking distant Himalayan peaks.

We stayed at TDCP Chewra Resort.

It was a beautiful resort covered around dense pine forest, little over charged for night but, they have 2 options for rooms Aline huts and tree house.

We stayed at Aline hut, it was comfortable and well decorative top floor set as a bedroom with double bed, down floor has a washroom with hot water facility, open kitchen counter with fridge, electric kettle and necessary crockery and small setup for lounge with big screen TV, but no internet connection.

Our first day was little annoyed without internet even our mobile network was not accessible to wifi.

We all nowadays are becoming slaves of internet, after every minute automatically our hands start scrolling unintentionally.

But we were there for sight seeing and lots of chitchat with cousins, so we found our activities, they have bicycles, ATV bikes, board games, horse riding, walking tracks.

So we tracked on mountain trails in light rain, collecting stones, pine cones witnessed strange crawling creatures.

Did cycling after ages and felt like a teenager 🥰.

For first time ever in my 53 years I ride an ATV bike, horse riding I avoided because of my fear of height.

We played ludo at night and the
Weather was chilly.

Food was delicious too, so we had great 3 days and 2 nights stay.

This place is highly recommended for couples.

Friends, whenever I visit a new place, I think about my dream to set a small Cafe, and explore the area accordingly.
