The day I met the lagend Imran Khan

Going through my pictures gallery, suddenly one of my old pictures got my attention, I wanted to share with you all too.

In my early divorce days, as I told you I was struggling very hard, working three jobs a day, morning I was teaching at a special school from 8 am to 12 pm, then if there was a call for voice over recording I went from school straight to the studio, and did recordings till 6 pm, and after that I was working for a well reputed Italian restaurant in Karachi as a manager. Although my duty hours were 7 pm to 12 pm but if customers were there we were not allowed to leave the restaurant, and after that closing took almost half an hour.

Sometimes I reached home after 1 am at night, and then again next day starts at 5 in the morning.

This was 2018, before elections, Imran Khan was the most favorite candidate, his party PTI was blooming.

Since Imran Khan was a cricketer I was always his fan of his personality as a great player, honesty and leadership qualities, not like other girls and women in our country who wanted to marry him 😏.

My sister (Faezah) is one of them, a die hard fan, even a mother of 2 grownups, she says, if he asks me to marry I can leave everything 🙄 🤪

My restaurant owner was a Pakistani, married to an Italian lady, our kitchen staff was from Italy too, our head chef, Antonio was a very handsome boy, he was Maria's (owners wife) nephew too.

So one evening he came to the restaurant wearing a black kameez shalwar (Pakistani traditional dress).

When I looked at him, I said wow Antonio you are looking smart, is there any occasion?

He said yes it's a secret and a surprise, promise you will not tell Zubair (owner) that I told you about it.

He told me thar today, Imran Khan was visiting our restaurant.

I got excited, ran straight to Zubair and asked him for a permission to invite my sister.

He was concerned about the security reasons but nice of him he allowed me to invite her, I called her, one first two calls she didn't reply but I did not stop calling her, at last she answered.

Me, hurry up, come to my restaurant
She, why ? I'm in gym
Me, Imran Khan is coming
She, ohhh 😯😯😯
She reached in 20 minutes 🤗

Imran Khan came before her, with his complete party members.

Honestly this man has a charisma, something in his personality which inspires you at first glance.

After Imran Khan entered, all the front doors where locked and security was not allowing anyone inside, so I entered my sister from back staff entrance.

Till he was engaged in party meeting, we all staff was busy serving dinner but Imran Khan didn't eat anything.

He called me and asked for a coffee only.

After their meeting ended, I went to him and asked him for a picture, and introduced Faezah to him.

When Faezah sat with him for a picture they started talking, like old friends 🫠.

I was happy too but it was one of a greatest day for my sister, and seeing her happy made my day too.

She posted her picture on all her social media pages, and for days she was telling everyone that I met Imran Khan.
