A very happy birthday / Un cumpleaños feliz (eng-esp)

A couple of days ago was my birthday! Since it was a day to celebrate, of course I had to get together with friends in a nice place where we could chat and share a coffee.

That's why I asked my husband to take me to the new cybercafé, and besides, I'd get to check it out.

My friends couldn't miss it. They all wanted to be with me that day and share my joy. They brought me some little gifts, which I loved. However, the best part was that they were able to be there with me.

Due to circumstances, not everyone who wanted to be there could make it. Some had work, and others were out of town.

However, each of my friends congratulated me and made it clear they wanted to be there with us.

It was Abel's first time. I had gone another day with my friends. He and I have this habit; it's our plan to visit every coffee shop in our country together. Of course, it's a difficult goal, almost a dream. However, it's a delightful dream, and although difficult, it's not impossible.

Therefore, we couldn't miss one on my birthday.

The owner of the shop gave us a slice of delicious chocolate flan.

It seems she heard something about my birthday and extended that courtesy on behalf of the establishment, thanking me for choosing her business to celebrate.

It was a magnificent morning. The celebrations continued throughout the rest of the day. However, no one can deny that starting the day like that is a great way to kick off a birthday.

Hola, amigos!

Hace un par de días ¡estuve de cumpleaños! Como era un día de celebración, claro que tenía que reunirme con amistades en un lugar agradable y donde pudiéramos conversar y compartir un café.
Por eso le pedí a mi esposo que me llevara al nuevo Cybercafé y, además, así lo conocería.

Mis amigas no podían faltar. Todas quisieron estar conmigo ese día y compartir mi alegría.
Me llevaron algunos regalitos, que me encantaron. Sin embargo, lo mejor de todo fue pudieron estar ahí conmigo.
Por cosas de la vida, no todos los que querían estar pudieron hacerlo. Algunos tenían trabajo y otros no se encontraban en la ciudad.
No obstante, cada uno de mis amigos me felicitó y dejaron claras sus ganas de estar allá junto a nosotros.

Abel iba por primera vez. Yo había ido otro día con mis amigas.
Él y yo tenemos esa costumbre, es plan de visitar juntos cada cafetería de nuestro país. Por supuesto, es una meta difícil, casi un sueño. Sin embargo, es un sueño delicioso y que, aunque difícil, no es imposible.
Por tanto, no podíamos faltar a una en mi cumpleaños.

La dueña del local nos regaló una cuña de un flan de chocolate delicioso.
Parece que escuchó algo sobre mi cumpleaños y tuvo esa cortesía de parte de la casa y me agradeció por haber elegido su negocio para festejar mi cumpleaños.

Fue una mañana magnífica. Las celebraciones continuaron durante el resto del día. Sin embargo, nadie puede negarme que comenzar el día de ese modo, es una gran manera de iniciar un cumpleaños.
