Monday-Monday…..😣…….My Actifit Report Card: July 27 2026

It’s Monday! Mondays are okay, and even though I had to work today, it didn’t go downhill until late afternoon. Somehow, despite everyone being on time, my new doc got seriously behind. So much so, he didn’t see the 4:30 patient until almost 5:00! 😳 She didn’t seem upset, which was good, however I ended up letting Marissa go home at 5:15 but I was stuck until the doc finished with that last patient. He brought her out around 5:20 or so. After finishing with her, (she didn’t want to purchase anything), I had some insurance information for the credentialing portion of one insurance. In the end, I clocked out at twenty to the hour. I am beginning to think that, for example, if closing is 5 PM, then the last appointment should be 4:00PM so that there’s time to process before we actually close. I’m just not sure how this would go over with the owner. Guess for now I will monitor and see if it improves over the next few weeks.

Tomorrow is ladies Bible study which I’m looking forward to. It could be the last one until September depending on if it’s decided to take August off.

Sunday afternoon found the baby deer and mom enjoying all of the ‘deer candy’, ( falling leaves, apples and fresh grasses) Baby is so cute! 🤩

Friday, Phoenix comes to stay for a couple of weeks as her human mom, dad, and sister all head to Hungary to visit family. She will miss them as will we. I’ve never been too comfortable with my son and his wife on those international tin cans and now they’ve added baby granddaughter Olivia to the mix! 😅🙀 I’d prefer they all stayed-but I get it. I’ll be praying 🙏 a lot! 😇

BSB 1Peter 4:12-19

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial that has come upon you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed at the revelation of His glory.
If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. Indeed, none of you should suffer as a murderer or thief or wrongdoer, or even as a meddler. But if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but glorify God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God? And,
“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved,
what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”
So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should entrust their souls to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.
