Nature…….My Actifit Report Card: May 17 2026

Happy Sunday to all! I hope it’s been a lovely day! 😊

My day began at church. Worship and the message were awesome. It was a packed house and that was just the first service! Once out in the parking lot, it was a regular rodeo trying to get out of the spot while others were vying for that spot. Too small of a parking lot-that’s for sure. I’m figuring the second service was probably just as packed! 😇

Once home, it was time to do some laundry and house chores. Long about noon or so, we headed out for about 45 minutes of basking in the dappled shade while @ silvertop was in full sun. I burn way too easily, but wanted some quiet nature time on my garden swing. It was nice!

Interestingly enough, there don’t seem to be any ‘shrooms about despite the rain and the humid and coolish temperatures. So, I searched the archives for some lovely specimens.

After enjoying the swing, I headed indoors to begin tackling my loft computer area. I’ve been wanting to clean, straighten and maybe rearrange a bit for a while now. I worked on that for a bit and figured I’d take it a section at a time. There’s things that I can get rid of and some things I want to keep. There’s also my Bible collection that needs organizing, so slowly I will go.

Afterwards, I headed back out for another 30 minutes or so in the swing and to read. I don’t stop often enough to enjoy the outdoors,and for some reason, the mosquitoes are curiously absent this year. Otherwise, I might not get the time outdoors as often the bites lead to cellulitis for me. 😏

It’s been a lovely day! Tomorrow, I will run up the hill to visit Linda, my recently widowed friend. She’s not doing so well based on the short conversation we had at church this morning. I’m hoping showing her a couple videos of my granddaughter Olivia, who just turned 9 months old on Friday past and who is walking already, will cheer her. She kind of skipped crawling, lol. Her video is precious and you can’t help but laugh as you ‘hear’ her determination in pushing her little cart along! Should be good for Linda. If you’ve a mind to, please pray for her. 🙏

Here’s one last ‘shroom specimen for you. I am hoping to see some new ones in the next few days.
