Rainy Days And Mondays……..My Actifit Report Card: February 2 2026

Yep-you guessed it! It’s Monday and it’s raining. 🙄☔️ I supposed it could be super hot and muggy! That would be a bummer for sure!

I decided to not make the bed as I was going to change the sheets. Given the weather of the day and the fact that Cot loves to tunnel-well you can see where he was at for a bit of the day! 😸 He looks pretty cozy too!

Cyle loves the waterbed but opted instead for the floor.

Today I had planned a busy day for myself! Change the bed, run and dry 3 loads of laundry, cook the chicken breast I’d thawed not knowing we were heading to Costco yesterday, take the two rotisserie chickens I’d bought at Costco and tear them apart, bag and freeze them, plus other things that crept into the day! I have to work tomorrow and didn’t really want to go anywhere today, plus……it’s raining! ☔️ I don’t enjoy getting soaked either!

This time last year, it looked like this…….

We’d experienced a snow storm and a cold snap. Not so much this year as our highs are in the upper 40’s to low 50’s. Much too warm! I was noticing the tree directly out the front window today, that is loaded with large green buds! Too early despite the warm temperatures!

I have an early start to work this week. Lisa is still in Mexico for the balance of the week; the doc’s mom is gone for a month beginning tomorrow, and the sister in law won’t work but the Wednesday and Friday shifts. That leaves me dealing with the extra. Tomorrow will be a me, myself and I day, which hopefully will be nice and maybe slow, 🤞as I have a few insurance projects that I need to accomplish and it gets difficult when I’m interrupted multiple times.

Then a doc day on Wednesday with appointments, Thursday-a me, myself and I day and then Friday again with the doc and appointments. The following week, the doc leaves for vacation, so it will be an easy week with just one day with a fill in doc. 😎
