Today 2025-12-11, the update for the new Winterfest event for 2025 arrived, brought to us by the Splinterlands team. “Festive” Nullwrough	“Festive” Incessant Sage

As in recent events in Splinterlands, we will be getting several Skins with a festive theme, some special for Gift Boxes, others available in Gwen's Glint Shop, in addition to an exclusive group that will be obtained in ultimate chests.

One of the new features of Winterfest is Gift Boxes, divided into 5 tiers filled with Credits, Glint, Energy, Weekly Fortune Entries, Conclave Arcana Packs, and Skins. These can be gifted to other players or kept for yourself.

Una de las cosas nueva que trae el Winterfest son los Gift Boxes, divididos en 5 tiers llenos de Credits, Glint, Energy, Weekly Fortune Entries, Conclave Arcana Packs y Skins. Que se pueden regalar a otros jugadores o quedarse para uno mismo.

A striking and ideal gift idea for friends or guildmates, perfect for raffles, or as a keepsake to treasure for a while or open months later to try your luck. It's actually cheaper, as part of the cost is returned in Credits, and it offers more uses, from Glints to buy Chests or Energy to play more battles. It's a self-reinforcing system, allowing more strategic players to earn Energy or Glints, and Conclave Arcana Packs or Weekly Fortune Entries to gamble on luck, with variable winnings depending on whether you win the Weekly Fortune Draw or one of the more expensive cards.

Una idea llamativa e ideal para regalar a los amigos o compañeros de gremios, que servirá para hacer sorteos, o para tener un recuerdo para guardarlo por un tiempo o abrirlo dentro de muchos meses para proba suerte. Frostbite

• All Units have Weary. Each round a unit does not attack, it takes 2 true damage at the end of that round.
• Units with Weary, have a 10% chance to become Exhausted, the chances increase each turn.

A new Ruleset that, like Blood Moon and Dragon Breath, brings changes to the meta by paralyzing units with Weary and also dealing damage to units that don't attack each round. I haven't tested it to see if it only affects units with Weary or, more logically, if it affects all units that don't attack, whether due to having no attack, being under Stun, or being in a position that prevents them from attacking. However, this makes units with Invigorate important for protecting the team from Frostbite.

Una nueva Ruleset que, como paso con Blood Moon y Dragon Breath, trae cambios en el meta al paralizar a las unidades al darle Weary y además causarle daño a los unidades que no ataquen en cada round. que no he probado para saber si solo a las unidades con Weary o, lo más lógico, que afecte a todas las unidades que no atacan, ya sea por no tener ataque, por estar bajo el efecto de Stun, o por estar en una posición que no le permite atacar. Invigorate is a very new ability that came with the reward cards from the Arcana Conclave set. It may cause the prices of these cards to increase this season. With Wailsworn Specter and Savaketh being the main possessors, it makes Water and Death elements, or dual-element Archons, the main beneficiaries in battles with Frostbite. However, it's not the only strategy for these battles. You can also create aggressive teams that win before Frostbite and Weary deal significant damage, or use a team with high healing for attrition strategies. Because, although I'm not entirely sure, the Weary effect isn't removed by Cleanse. Although this Ruleset can also create new strategies, such as using cards with Stun and Knock Out to cause a lot of damage combined with those 3 effects, or simply making Frostbite another accelerator for cards with Martyr or Bloodline Tribute.

Invigorate es una habilidad muy nueva que llego con las tarjetas de recompensas del conjunto Conclave Arcana. puede hacer que los precios de estas tarjetas aumenten por esta temporada. Con Wailsworn Specter y Savaketh siendo las principales poseedoras hace que los elementos Agua y Muerte, o Archons doble elemento, sean los principales beneficiados de las batallas con Frostbite. A great event to end the year, which, as usual, brings us new Skins, more content, and a Ruleset that I like and is most interested in because it's what changes the game the most. And this one is special, since it doesn't just give an offensive advantage like Blood Moon with Bloodlust or Dragon Breath with Burning Effect, but is more strategic, where you have to think about whether to build your team to resist the effects of Frostbite or use it to your advantage to deal the most damage to the enemy.

Un gran evento para finalizar el año que, ya como de costumbre ya, nos trae nuevas Skins, mas contenido y una Ruleset que me gusta y es lo que más me interesa porque es lo que más cambia el juego. Y esta es especial, ya que no da una ventaja ofensiva únicamente como paso con Blood Moon con Bloodlust o Dragon Breath con Burning effect, sino que es mas estratégica, donde se tiene que pensar si formar tu equipo para resistir los efectos de Frostbite o usarla a tu favor para causar el mayor daño al enemigo.
