Road to Research : Chaos ensues
I tried to restructure my land and made a bit of a mess of it, time to try and put that right. With Chaos Legion rotating into wild I'm going to concentrate on Land and Modern so I should have some decent CL cards to increase my PP on land.
Although I'm currently 100% self sufficient, I'm not quite 100% positive in all resources, and they I'm only operating on a very small scale (although I was quite surprised to see me sitting at #974 of 4063 unique land owners in respect of boosted PP)
I keep saying i'm going to get serious with my land but then find something else to spend my DEC on so its time to start reinvesting properly in land and work towards getting the research I need for an Aura Lab (still a long way to go at present!), Starting from todays harvest i'm going to track earning and reinvestment, hopefully I can use it wisely.
Looking at my main grain region I am holding 3 rare plots, 2 with a common totem and one of those with a common title.
And using @beaker007 great tool (https://splinter-lands.streamlit.app/ I can see even across these 2 active plots I'm being really inefficient
4 cards with no splinter alignment and the Acid Shooter would be better placed on the land on the right in place of Tide Biter. I also have 10,000 dark energy in this region that is currently not being used.
The problem with moving workers around on land when you place them badly is the three day cooldown, taking the Acid Shooter and Tide Biter off the lands today mean i have to wait to put them back on the opposite lands. I cant really afford to leave that space not earning anything so ill put some place holders on the land while we wait.
While making adjustments to my Lunaden plots I claimed all my resources, transferring grain to my other region in the process then sold anything remaining and made a net 80 DEC, reinvested this in my 2nd region which then made the Stone in the region enough to cover the research costs again with no need to buy resources (it was only a matter of 0.5 per hour that needed to be increased)
So we end the day with a slightly larger grain deficit and generating more stone but have started the process of moving workers into more efficient positions and will continue to improve each day.
Just need to pick up 3 common totem fragments so I can boost the 3rd land in the region as I start to add workers to it.
So close to all green numbers 😍
Could the reduction of transfer costs to 10% be the factor that helps with that? Hopefully it’s an easy update for your site calculation
