Trying My Luck on Ultimate Chest Again

In the past I posted my thought about ultimate chest, and that was based on my experience from getting them at max batch number. It was not good enough for me, I did not know whether because I was unlucky or maybe It was right as not good enough.

Recently I saw some talk about Splinterlands in Indonesian Community, my friend @arveno said that he bought all the chest at the first batch. So I wonder, is Ultimate chest good as he said or not? Now I have a side quest here, I want to prove to myself and all of you how good this Ultimate Chest is...

I am buying all the first batch of Ultimate chest, which are 30 chests and those would demand me to pay for 300.000 Glint. I have 316.718 Glint so it is more that enough to cover that cost.

My goal is simple, I am aiming that JACKPOT! at 8% rate. So I have 30 chests, it means I should get 2 JACKPOT!. But I know it would not work as good like that, that must be some decoy or bait and I expect to not getting any single JACKPOT from this chests opening.

I am not being pessimistic, but I know things would not be that good lol.

Oh ya, I forget about the potions. Luckily I have them all. 30 potions each for the Legendary and the Alchemy ones.

FIRST 10 CHESTS

They look very promising at this point. I get 2 Gold Foil cards of common rarity, which is a very good result. The reward cards are good too, I get that
Shadowcomb Duskrose and Hrolfa. Both are very useful, they are strong. It is just too bad they are not in gold foil.

THE SECOND 10 CHESTS

Honestly, I do not know how to say about these 10 chests. They are not that bad, regarding I get another Hrolfa and the other rewards card are cool too. Mindless Thrall is a strong one. However no Gold Foil here, so I could say they are a bit useless for me.

THE LAST 10 CHESTS

I get the same feeling from seeing the second 10 chests. These are not a bad one, I get 10 enerrgy, epic scrolls, 6 rare scrolls, 2000 merits and good reward cards. However the absence of gold foil has made this 10 chests look so useless for me. It likes I get good stuff but I have no use of them, and that is the same as getting nothing.

Well I get that 10 energy. Let say my winrate is 50% so it means I will get some extra wins, 5 wins. If a win will give me 4 SPS, that means I get 20 extra SPS from this pack opening. Is it a good one?

CONCLUSION

In the past I have decided to not open the Ultimate Chest anymore because the result is not quite useful for me, and today I will say the same. Ultimate Chests are not for me, maybe it is useful for somebody else.

How can it be like that? Well, let's talk about numbers here. If you play on higher Gold League or Diamond League, and your win will give you around 15-20 SPS, what I get today, in term of energy, will be equal with 75-100 SPS.

So that's my answer here. If you play on Gold Foil or lower, just ignore the Ultimate Chest. They are not worth for the effort. However if you are playing on Diamond League or above, go for it.
