Tidal Tsunamist ~ Simple And Strong!

Greeting Everyone

Welcome to my weekly Splinterlands post. Another week, another new topic I can share about Splinterlands here on HIVE. It is one of the best blockchain games in this world right now, you may debate it but I believe everyone has their own right to express their opinion and belief aboutthis one.

Last week I talked about Virid Venomancer in my post, it is a great Conclave Arcana edition cards from Earth element. Today I might share the same topic but it is for the different card. This time I am sharing you one of my favorite cards which come from the Water Element, of course from the same edition Conclave Arcana...

She is Tidal Tsunamist. I do not know what Tsunamist is, maybe it is a character who can create tsunami, a massive sea wave that can wipe out her opponent. Well that must be it, regarding she is very strong in my team, but Splinterlands is not about poetric game, name does not determine the core. It's the numbers and abilities that determine a card worth!

Tidal Tsunamist attribute are all ok. She hits quite good damage, 3 melee damage, which is not great but not lame either. Her speed is the decent one 3, not slow, however it is not something that fast. Her health point is quite ok, because above 5 health points, she mostlikely can endure more than a hit before getting killed.

Her abilities are useful too. One is sneak ability, which makes her able to hit from everywhere, aiming the backline opponent. The second one is repair, which she can repair any broken armor in the team, making her a good support. The second one is very important recenty, because Water Element has two units that rely on Armor Strike.

So repair is the most important ability, right? It is not wrong to say that but the proper thing to say about her is that her role makes her unique. She is a repair card, a support one, but she has a decent attack power. This makes her special, because all the cards in Conclave Arcane which have repair ability, only have 1 attack damage.

So she will be your repair card and she won't make you lose any momentum by keeping your team having proper attack power. The most problem we get when we use support units is losing our attack power or momentum, or defends make you lose some offends... however this does not imply on her

HIGHLIGHTED BATTLE

~Click The Image Above To See the Full Battle~

OK this is the battle I pick for this post. This is not a great battle for me however in this battle we can see how Tidal Tsunamist lifted up my team when the meta I used did not work well as it was planned.

This battle has a lost magic ruleset, which forbids the use of mages. In this condition, having armored units is very useful and gives you a competitive advantages. I try to grasp that opportunity by getting Tidal Tsunamist as the repair supports.

However it is 23 mana cap battle, not much we can do with that mana limit. When I put Commander Slade as the main tank, everything becomes problematic, so the rest of my team are small mana units.

In the end it becomes 5 vs 6 battle, which I am the one who has lesser units due to housing in Commander Slade.

We both lost a unit in the first round. So the beginning was an equal for us, however 4 vs 5 was harder than 5 vs 6. And in this battle, it looked like only Commander Slade I could rely on...

The funny thing was, in that round we both lost our Broken Earth Thung. It was one of the most useful small mana units which still could compete with the big guys.

You might be wondering why my Commander Slade did not kill their Halfing Refugee... Well it is because of the reverse speed ruleset. Overall Commander Slade was the slowest now, and he kept missing his attacks. Looked at him, almost died at 2 health points.

At this point we could see my meta was in disarray. Everything was lifted up by Tidal Tsunamist, by making sure Slade would not be killed

Finally my team turned the table around, now we were leading at this point. Tidal Tsunamist kept repairing Commander Slade armor, and they could not able to kill him. I was a bit lucky regarding they failed to poison my Commander Slade a couple of times. 50% and missed twice, that's a good RNG for me.

And my team won this battle, which I believe the MVP was actually Tidal Tsunamist. So what do you think about this card, Do you agree this one is a great one such as in the old days Deep Lurker from Chaos Legions became the must have one in the team? Please do share it below on comments! Thank you for your visit here. See you in Splinterlands Rank Battles!!!
